2nd stage:Hanshin Tigers vs Hiroshima Carp
The teams faced eachother from Oct 18. The Tigers showed their players were in shape, clinching all 3 games.

1st stage:Hiroshima Carp vs Yokohama Dena BayStars
The BayStars ace Iwanaga was clobbered. On Tanaka's game winning hit the Carp won again. It's 4 to 2. With this win, the Carp advanced to the final stage of the Climax Series.

On Oct 14, in the first game, Akiyama hit in a run in the 11th inning to clinch the game 3 to 2 against the BayStars.

Oct
The Giants on Oct 3 beat the Dragons, and also won the next day against the BayStars. But as it ended in B class, skipper Tatsunori Hara decided to step down after this season. It's without completing his 3 year contract. He names Shinnosuke Abe his successor.

Only a few games were left. The Giants on Oct 1 held a farewell game for Nobuhiro Matsuta and a ceremony. The Giants beat the Swallows. The BayStar won its 3rd game in a row, beating the Dragons. The Tigers defeated the Carp.

Sept
The competition to advance to the climax series seems to have been finalized on Sept 26, with the Giants facing a shut out loss to the BayStars. Katsuki Azuma won his 16th game. The Giants is out. The Carp and the BayStars compete for 2nd place. The BayStars lost to the Swallows on Sept 27, beat the Tigers on Sept 25 on a run by Shogo Maki. But lost to the Swallows on Sept 30. As to the Carp, it lost to the Dragons on Sept 28 beat the Tigers the next day.

From Sept 20 the Tigers faced the Giants, Yoshihiro Maru homered in both games but the victory went to Tigers in the first game to the Giants in the 2nd games. On Sept 20, the BayStars Katsuki Azuma won his 15th game of the season supported by a 2 run homer by Shogo Maki in the game against the Carp. The Swallows Osuna's RBI gave his team a win over the Dragons. The Dragons won the next day.

From Sept 17, the Tigers lost 2 games against the BayStars. The Carp and the Dragons faced eachother and won a game each. The Giants beat the Swallows in 2 games, both very competitive games.

The Tigers lost the game against the Carp on Sept 15, following league victory celebrations ending its winning streak at 11. The Tigers won the next on Sheldon Neuse's 2 run home run. The BayStars faced the Swallows and won a game each. The Giants won the first against the Dragons on home runs by Kazuma Okamoto, Hayato Sakamoto and 2 homers by Sho Nakata. But lost the next game.

The Tigers faced the Giants on homeground Koshien from Sept 12. Pitcher Yuki Nishi shut out the Giants in the first. Teruaki Sato grandslammed to win again in the 2nd. With the victory in the 3rd game, the Tigers clinched the league victory for the first time in 18 years. As to other teams, they continue to compete to try to finish 2nd and 3rd to advance to the Climax series. The BayStars lost to the Dragons the first 2 games, won the 3rd with homers by Shogo Maki and Neftali Soto. The Swallows beat the Carp in the first 2 games, lost the 3rd.

The Tigers feat continued from Sept 8 by beating the Carp in all 3 games. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows. The Giants defeated the Dragons in 2 games, tied in 1.

The Tigers winning streak extended to 5 by defeating the Dragons from Sept 5 in 2 games. Carp's Shota Dobayashi hit in a game winning run on Sept 5 to defeat the BayStars. Then on Matt Davidson's homerun it clinched the game the next day. But lost the 3rd. The Giants won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows.

The Tigers faced the Swallows from Sept 1. Teruaki Sato homere in 2 games. The Tigers won all 3. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp. The Giants lost the first 2 against the Carp, won in the competitive 3rd.

Aug
On Aug 29, the BayStars beat the Tigers on Keita Sano's 2 run home run. Then the next day the BayStars won again on Shogo Maki's 3 run home run. The Carp beat the Giants in the first game and also in a competitive game started by their ace pitchers on Aug 30. The Giants shut out the Carp in the next game. The Dragon defeated the Swallows in the first 2 games, and lost the next.

From Aug 25, the Tigers faced the Giants, won the first 2 games, and lost the 3rd to Hayato Sakamoto's equalizing home run and Kazuma Okamoto's RBI hit. The BayStars beat the Dragons in the first 2 games, lost the 3rd. The Carp won the first 2 games against the Swallows, tied in the 3rd.

The Tigers beat the Dragons on both Aug 22 and 23. The Carp beat the BayStars in the first 2 games from Aug 19 but lost the 3rd to Neftali Soto's 2 run home run. The Giants from Aug 22 beat the Swallows in all 3 games. In the 3rd game Yoshihiro Maru slammed a 3 run homer.

From Aug 18 the Tigers faced the BayStars and won 2 of 3 games. The Carp clinched 2 of 3 games from the Giants. The Swallows defeated the Dragons in all 3 games.

The Tigers streak ended on Aug 15, facing defeat against the Carp. It won the next but lost the 3rd game on Hiroki Tokoda's shut out pitch. The BayStars Trevor Bauer helped his team win again on Aug 15. It's against the Swallows. The Swallows won the next on a home run the base hits by Munetaka Murakami. The BayStars won the 3rd game. The Giants and the Swallows payed on Aug 16 and 17, won a game each.

The Tigers winning streak extended to 10 by defeating the Swallows in all 3 games from Aug 11. The game on Aug 12 was the longest this season taking 5 hours 16 minutes, with the Tigers winning on Teruaki Sato's sacrifice run. The Giants lost the game on Aug 11 to BayStars slugger Shogo Maki's 2 run home run. The Giants won the next 2 games. The Dragons and the Carp played competitive games, tying on Aug 11, and the Dragons winning the next 2.

The Tigers continue its feat from Aug 8 beating the Giants in all 3 games. The BayStars beat the Dragons in all 3, in the first with Shogo Maki's RBIs, and in the 2nd with Trevor Bauer's 10 strike out pitch. The Swallows may be getting back in shape winning all 3 games against the Carp.

From Aug 5 the Tigers won against the BayStars in all 3 games. The Carp faced the Giants and clinched the first 2 games. In the 3rd game the Giants clobbered the Carp with 3 home runs by Kazuma Okamoto. The Dragons beat the Swallows in 2 games.

The Tigers continue to do well from Aug 1, beating the Dragons in 2 of 3 games. Closely competing for 2nd place, the Carp and the BayStars win a game each and tie in one. The Giants lost the first against the Swallows, but won the next two with home runs by Kazuma Okamoto. Shosei Togo hurled over the distance for his 10th win.

July
The 2 leading teams competing closely faced eachother from Jul 28. The Tigers won the first game on RBIs by Shota Morishita to regain first place from the Carp, they tied in the 2nd and the Tigers won the 3rd. The Giants from Jul 28 defeated the Dragons in all 3 games, with the first win on Kazuma Okamoto's 3 run home run. The BayStars won the first game from the Swallows, but the Swallows won the next 2, both on home runs by Munetaka Murakami.

From Jul 25 the Tigers faced the Giants and won the first 2,lost the 3rd. As a result of that lost, the Carp which beat the Swallows in all 3 games emerged to first place. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Dragons.

The league resumed regular competition after the all star break on Jul 22. The Swallows Munetaka Murakami slammed a 2 run home run to defeat the Tigers. The Tigers won the next game. The Giants Naoki Yoshikawa homere on Jul 22 and also in the next game, to defeat the BayStars in both. The Carp won 2 games from the Dragons.

The Tigers lost the first 2 games against the Dragons from Jul 15, and won the 3rd on Teruaki Sato's 3 run home run. The Carp from Jul 15 beat the BayStars in all 3 games and surged to 2nd place. The Swallows defeated the Giants in all 3 games.

The Tigers Seiya Kinami helped his team win with his 5 RBIs against the BayStars on Jul 11. The Tigers won the next game in a competitive game. The BayStars won the 3rd. The Giants beat the Carp on Jul 11 with a homer by Sho Nakata but lost the next 2 games. The Dragons Takakaya Ishikawa homered twice to beat the Swallows on Jul 11. The next day the Swallows Munetaka Murakami homered twice. He homered in the 3rd game too but the Dragons won.

The BayStars beat the Giants on Jul 7 in a close game, lost the next on Sho Nakata's 2 run home run, then in the 3rd game the BayStars Shogo Maki ended the game with a winning home run. On Jul 7 the Dragons Shinnosuke Ogasawara shut out the Carp. The Dragons closer Raidel Martinez won his 19th save in the next. The Carp won the 3rd with Ryoma Nishikawa's 3 run homer. The Tigers and the Swallows won a game each from Jul 8.

From Jul 4 the Tigers lost 2 of 3 games to the Carp. The Swallows defeated the BayStars in 2 of 3 games. The Giants blasted in Jul 4 with homers by Yoshihiro Maru and Takumi Ohshiro against the Dragons, and won the next game on a grandslam by Kazuma Okamoto.

On Jul 1, the Tigers beat Tomoyuki Sugano led Giants and tied in the next game. The BayStar tied with the Dragons then won the next. The Swallows Domingo Santana blasted a 3 run home run to beat the Carp, and won the next day with Jose Osuna's 3 run.

June
On Jun 30, the Giants clinched a competitive game against the Tigers. The BayStars lost it 4th games in a row, facing defeat against the Dragons. The Carp shut out the Swallows.

On June 27, the Tigers Yusuke Ohyama slammed a 2 run home run and more to beat the Dragons. The Tigers lost the next game but won the 3rd on Ryo Watanabe's 2 run home run. The Carp defeated the BayStars in all 3 games. The Swallows beat the Giants on Jun 28 on Tetsuto Yamada's 3 run home run.

From June 23, teams were back competing in the Central League. The BayStars Shogo Maki contributed with RBIs in all 3 games to defeat the Tigers in all to surge to first place. The Carp defeated the Giants in 2 of 3 games to replace the Giants for 3rd place. The Dragons beat the Swallows in 2 of 3 games.

From May 30, games are played against Pacific League teams in the Interleague.

The Tigers winning streak continues defeating the Giants in all 3 games from May 26. The Carp beat the Swallows in all 3 games. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the BayStars.

From May 23, the Tigers won all 3 games against the Swallows. The BayStars won the first game against the Giants, lost the next, shut out by pitcher Shosei Togo. The Giants won the 3rd game too on Naoki Yoshikawa's RBI. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp.

On May 19, the Carp stopped the Tigers consecutive win at 7. But the Tigers won the next 2 games. The BayStars played against the Swallows from May 20, won the first, tied in the next. On May 20 the Giants Taku Oshiro grandslammed to defeat the Dragons. The Giants won the next game too on Kazuma Okamoto's home run.

First place Tigers from May 16 won all 3 games against the Dragons. The Carp beat the BayStars on May 16 but lost the next game on 2 homers by Shogo Maki and lost the 3rd game too. The Giants beat the Swallows in all 3 games rising to 4th place.

The Tigers Teruaki Sato blasted a home run on May 12 against the BayStars. In the 3rd game had homered a 3 run, then grand slammed. The Tigers won all 3 games and surged to first place. The Dragons won the on May 12 against the Swallows. In the next game Munetaka Murakami homered twice to help his team win. The Swallows won the 3rd game too. The Carp won 2 of 3 games against the Giants.

The BayStars lost 2 games against the Giants from May 9. The Swallows Domingo Santana homered to beat the Tigers on May 9. wallo The Swallows 43 year pitcher Masanori Ishikawa won the next day. The Tigers took the 3rd game. The Carp won all 3 games from the Dragons.

On May 5 the Buffaloes lost a competitive game against the Swallows but won big the next day which included a grand slam by Shogo Maki. The Dragons from May 5 defeated the Giants in all 3 games. The Tigers beat the Carp on May 5.

The BayStars faced the Carp from May 2, lost the first game. But in the 2nd game, Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer started for the first time. He was let go by the LA Dodgers. He pitched well to defeat the Carp. The BayStar won the next too. The Dragons and the Tigers played competitive games of which the Tigers won 2. The Giants won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows, the wins were contributed by home runs by Kazuma Okamoto and Yoshihiro Maru.

The BayStars continue its feat defeating the Dragons in all 3 games from Apr 28. The Tigers won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows. The Giants Hayato Sakamoto finally homered on Apr 28 to beat the Carp, Sho Nakata had a walk over 2 run home run in the next game. But lost the 3rd game.

The BayStars continue to do well beating the Swallows in all 3 games from Apr 25 with Shogo Maki hitting in runs. The Carp and the Dragons won a game each from Apr 26. The Giants won 2 games against the Tigers.

From Apr 21, the BayStars faced the Carp, and won 2 of 3 games to surge to first place. The Swallows lost 2 of 3 games to the Giants, falling to 2nd place. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp.

On Apr 18, the Tigers emerged to first place by defeating the Carp with Takumo Nakano's walk off run. The Tigers won the next game, but lost the 3rd. The Swallows beat the Dragons in 2 games, with Yuhei Nakamura's walk off run. The Giants and the BayStars won a games each.

The Giants continue to perform poorly from Apr 14. It lost the first game to the Dragons, won the next but lost the 3rd. The Carp beat the Swallows in all 3 games. The BayStars defeated the Tigers in 2 games.

From Apr 11 the Giants faced the Tigers, and won the first game on Togo's good pitching and RBIs by Lui Okoe and a 2 run homer by Sho Nakata. But the Giants lost the next 2 games. On Apr 11 the Swallows Munetaka Murakami slammed a 2 run home run to beat the BayStars. The BayStars won the next day on Maki's 2 run homer. The Dragons and the Carp won a game each.

The Swallows faced the Tigers from Apr 7, won a game, lost a game and tied a game. The Carp beat the Giants in all 3 games with Matt Davidson's contribution. The BayStars beat the Dragons in 2 games from Apr 8.

On Apr 4, the Giants new player Lewis Brinson homered to help the team win against the BayStars. But the BayStars won the next 2 games. The Tigers won the first game, the next was rained out and the Carp won the 3rd game on Matt Davidson's 2 run home run. The Swallows beat the Dragons in all 3 games.

On Apr 1, the Swallows won against the Carp on Jose Osuna's 2nd home run of the season. The next day, Tetsuto Yamada homered. Munetaka Murakami hit the outfield wall, and came running home. to win. The Tigers walked over in the 10th inning on Koji Chikamoto's hit against the BayStars. It won the next day too. In the 2nd game Sho Nakata homered again for the Giants. This time the Giants beat the Dragons. The Giants won the next day on returnee Hisayoshi Chono's RBI and Taisei closing the game.

The league opened on Mar 31. Last year's champion the Swallows had a great start with last year's triple crown kind Munetaka Murakami's 2 run home run, hitting off the Carps Daichi Ohsera, with a shut out victory. The Tigers, managed from this year by Akinobu Okada beat the BayStars with RBIs by Ryutaro Umeno and Ryuhei Obata. The Dragons in it's first game took over the lead in the 9th inning to surpass the Giants. The Giants earlier took the lead on Sho Nakata's home run ahd 2 more RBIs.
