thrust Takayasu down. Both are 6-2.

Wakatakakage forced down Tamawashi who succumbed to his first loss.

Takakeisho attacked Ura with thrusts and drove Ura out and off the ring.

Hokutofuji pushed out Nishikifuji for his 6th win.
Meisei pushed out Shodai.
Takakeisho fell forward to Tamawashi's shove.
Mitakeumi pushed forward but as he pushed Kotonowaka, he fell.
The refrees ruled Mitakeumi the loser.
Terunofuji fought cautiously against Ura. Ura was cautious too, then
went into the yokozuna and drove him out.
Terunofuji succumbed to his 3rd loss.
Hokutofuji and Tamawashi are the two leaders.

Hokutofuji pushed out Kotoeiko and won his 5th bout.
Takayasu pushed out Wakamotoharu. Both are 4-1.
Takakeisho slapped Meisei and drove him out the ring for his 4th win.

Takayasu forced Sadanoumi down and won his 2nd bout.
Hoshoryu hooked his leg and forced Ichinojo to fall to win his 2nd bout.
