Takayasu drove down Mitakeumi to win his 7th bout. The other former ozeki took his 3rd loss.
Takanosho forced out ozeki Kirishima. It's the ozeki's 3rd loss.
On Ura's thrust Hoshoryu fell forward. It's the new ozeki's 5th loss.
Takakeisho and Tobizaru fought aggressively against eachother.
In the end, the ozeki was pushed out. It's Takakeisho's 3rd loss.

7th day
Asanoyama pushed out Abi for his 3rd win.
Wakamotoharu drove Hokutorfuji out for his 4th win.
Nishikigi forced Hoshoryu out. The new ozeki lost his 4th bout.
Shodai withstood Takakeisho's slaps, and pushed the ozeki out.
Kirishima forced Tamawashi on his hands to win his 5th bout.
6th day
Takayasu pushed out Gonoyama for his 5th win.
Ura pushed out Daieisho.
Takakeisho forced Tamawashi out.
Kirishima forced a throw on Shodai to win his 4th bout.
Hoshoryu and Asanoyama attempted a throw on eachother. In the end the new ozeki hurled the former ozeki to
win his 2nd bout.
5th day
Kirishima fought a long sumo with former ozeki Asanoyama.
In the end, Kirishima took Asanoyama down by hooking his leg.
Hoshoryu managed to pushed out Tamawashi. It's the new ozeki's 2nd win.
Takatoriki charged into Abi and drove Abi out.
For the first time this tourney, all 3 ozeki won on the same day.
4th day
Hokutofuji who has been beating every ozeki so far lost to Daieisho.
Hoshoryu fought aggressively but Shodai remained inside the ring and forced
the Mongolian ozeki down.
Takakeisho pushed and thrust down Asanoyama.
Abi forced Kirishima to fall.
3rd day
Mitakeumi pushed out Hokuseiryu for his 3rd win.
Takayasu was shoved out from the back by Oonosho. Oonosho won his 3rd bout.
Nishikigi threw Asanoyama for his 2nd win.
Wakamotoharu drove out Shodai for his first win.
Takakeisho thrust down Meisi for his 2nd win.
Hokutofuji in an aggressive bout drove Kirishima out to win his 3rd bout.

The popular Ura pushed out Gonoyama for his first win.

Asanoyama tried to stay inside the ring, and he did, by pushing back, and defeating Kotonowaka.
Kirishima forced Meisei to slip and fall.
Hoshoryu fell on his hand in the bout against Hokutofuji.
