Final day
Atamifuji drove out Ohshomi to add another win. He waited for Aonishiki's result. Meanwhile, Kirishima forced out Abi. Aonishiki fought against Kotozakura with his head low and drove out the older ozeki. With this win, he tied with Atamifuji for a run-off. Hoshoryu grabbed Onosato's belt and drove him out. Both yokozunas finished 10-5. In the play-off, Aonishiki went low against Atamifuji. Then he wrapped his arm around Atamifuji's neck and threw him to win. It's Aonishiki's 2nd Emperor's Cup victory.

14th day
Atamifuji pushed his body on Kirishima to make the former ozeki fall out of the ring first. Atamifuji won his 11th bout. Abi got behind Takayasu and drove him out to win his 10th bout. Hoshoryu threw Kotozakura with his right arm and won his 9th bout. Onosato easily forced Aonishiki out for his 10th win. Aonishiki and Atamifuji tie for the Emperor's Cup.

13th day
Atamifuji thrust down Abi for his 10th win. Takayasu threw Asanoyama to clinch a majority. Kirishima forced out Shishi to win his 10th bout. Kotozakura pulled back and lost to Onosato. It's the yokozuna's 9th win. Aonishiki went low against Hoshoryu and with his left threw the yokozuna to win his 11th bout. Aonishiki remains the sole leader.

12th day
Asanoyama pushed out Fujinokawa with strong skills to win his 9th bout. Ohshoumi drove out Chiranoumi for his 9th win. Shishi forced down Ohho for his 9th win. Kotozakura picked up the heavy Abi out of the ring. Abi lost his 3rd bout. Aonishiki fought aggressively and cautiously against Atamifuji and drove the heavy rikishi out to lead with 10 wins. Hoshoryu was driven out by Kirishima. The yokozuna seemed to be have a bad pain in his left leg. Onosato was at risk of leaving the ring against Takayasu's force, but Takayasu lost balanace and the yokozuna managed to drive him out. Onosato won his 8th bout. Aonishiki is the sole leader.

11th day
Abi shifted position as he stood up to fight and toppled Shishi for his 9th win. Asanoyama drove out Hiradoumi to secure a majority win. Atamifuji forced Fujinokawa out from behind for his 9th win. Hakunofuji fell on his knee in the bout against Aonishiki. It's the new ozeki's 9th win. Takanosho drove out Kotozakura. It's the ozeki's 4th loss. Onosato drove out Kirishima. Hoshoryu pulled away from Takayasu's shove and managed to drive the former ozeki down to secure a majority win. Leading the tourney are Abi,Atamifuji and Aonishiki

10th day
Abi managed to thrust down Ohshoumi for a majority win. Asanoyama got hold of Kinpozan's belt and drove his out for his 7th win. Shishi clinched a majority win by driving down Fujinokawa. Kotozakura got a hold of Kirishima's belt and drove him out. Aonoshiki and Takanosho fought aggressively. In the end the new ozeki won with a push out. Hoshoryu managed to throw Ohho fo r his 7th win. Onosato and Atamifuji had to redo the bout after a tie. Onosato was easily pushed out taking his 4th loss.

9th day
Ura tried to pull Kirishima's arm but was forced down while at it. Kirishima clinched a majority win. Aonishiki shoved forward and drove out Wakatakakage for his 7th win. Kotozakura drove down Takayasu. Both are 6-3. Wakamotoharu quickly forced Onosato out. It's the yokozuna's 3rd loss. Atamifuji pushed out Hoshoryu. Kirishima is the sole leader as Abi lost.

8th day
Abi attacked Tokihayate with thrusts and pushed him out for his 7th win. For the first time since 2020, Emperor Naruhito attended the grand tourney. He was accompanied by kimono clad Empress Masako and Princess Aiko. The tourney was filled with upsets. Kotozakura was powerless, pushed out easily by Ohho, losing his 3rd bout. Kirishima grabbed the back of Aonishiki's belt and forced him down to win his 7th bout. Daeisho drove Hoshoryu down on the edge of the ring. It's the yokozuna:s 2nd loss. Onosato was easily pushed out by Hakunofuji taking his 2nd lost. All ozeki and yokozuna lost.

7th day
Abi gave Asanoyama thrusts, but Asanoyama gave thrusts back and drove Abi out. It's Abi's first loss. Takayasu forced Ohho out for his 5th win. Aonoshiki leaned towards Wakamotoharu, forcing his opponent to fall and won his 6th bout. Kirishima threw Yoshinofuji for his 6th win. Wakatakakage forced into Kotozakura and the ozeki immediately thrust him down. Onosato was about to be forced out but managed to stay in the ring and in the end forced down Daieisho. Hoshoryu had to redo a bout against Hakunofuji after a fall scarring his forehead. With blood spilling, the yokozuna fought again, managing to shove down his opponent.

6th day
Abi gave thrusts to drive out Asakoryu for his 6th win. Fujnokawa forced down Gonoyama for his 5th win. The gyoji or jury gave the bout to Ichiyamamoto, but the juries decision was Kirishima won with a push out for his 5th win. Aonishiki fought low against Takayasu and drove out the former ozeki for his 5th win. Kotozakura forced Daieisho out for his 4th win. Hoshoryu drove down Takanosho for his 5th win. Onosato drew Wakanosato towards him by the back of his neck to make him fall.

5th day
Asanoyama drove out Raiden for his 4th win. Abi thrust down Chiyoshoma for his 5th win. Ohshoma forced down Kinpozan with his left for his 5th win. Kirishima was driven down by Ohho for his first loss. Aonishiki grabbed Daieisho with both his hand and drove him out. Kotozakura pulled back easily giving in to Hakunofuji's shoves and lost his 2nd bout. Onosato managed to keep a foot in the ring while the other was up in the air while Takanosho fell. Hoshoryu fought a perfect bout to drive out Wakatakakage.

4th day
Asanoyama forced down Ukrainian Shishi for his 3rd win. Wakatakakage pushed out Takanosho for his 3rd win. Kirishima and Wakamotoharu fought aggressively against eachother. In the end the former ozeki forced his opponent out of the ring for his 4th win. Kotozakura stepped out of the ring, unable to withstand Ichiyamamoto's force to lose his first bout. Ohho with the weight of his body drove Aonishiki down the ring. It's the new ozeki's first loss. Hoshoryu immediately threw Ura who came charging towards him super low. Yoshinofuji threw Onosato out the ring. It's the yokozuna's first loss.

3rd day
Both former ozeki Mitakeumi and Asanoyama faced eachother. Asanoyama drove out Mitakeumi for his 2nd win. Kirishima and Hakuhofuji had to redo their bout after fighter for 1 minute 40 seconds. In the 2nd try Kirishima forced down Hakuhofuji for his 3rd win. Aonishiki kept his head low to fight and win against Ichiyamamoto. Kotozakura threw Wakamotoharu on the verge of the ring for his 3rd win. Ura grabbed Onosato's leg and tried to trip the yokozuna but fell at the same time and had to redo the bout. Then Onosato easly forced down Ura to win. Yoshinofuji powerfully drove Hoshoryu out for his first win.

2nd day
Former ozeki Asanoyama was back in makuuchi after 9 tourneys. He won his first bout by driving down Hatsuyama. 41 year old Tamawashi pushed out Atamifuji for his first win. Kotozakura threw Ura out the ring for his 2nd win. Aonishiki threw Yoshinofuji by his neck. It was a close call that needed video review. The juries gave the bout to the Ukrainian. Hoshoryu did not have a strong start but was able to drive Ichiyamamoto out. Ohho attacked Onosato's throat but that did not hinder the yokozuna from moving forward and drive Ohho out.

First day
On the verge of the ring, Daieisho thrust down Atamifuji. Ohho pushed and pushed but Hakunofuji would not move. In the end Hakunofuji threw Ohho to win. Takayasu powerfully forced down Takanosho. Kirishima immediately pushed out Wakatakakage. Aonishiki managed to drive Ura down to win his first bout as ozeki. Kotozakura drove Yohonofuji out from behind. Onosato forced out Ichiyamamoto. Hoshoryu got hold of Wakamotoharu's belt and drove him out. All champion rankers won.
