Panorama TOKYO : Kita-Shinjuku

Most rivers or canals flowed in Tokyo have the vertical bank covered with concrete. In recent years the promenades and small parks have been built on the riverside with the insipid waterway, for environmental improvement. So we often enjoy strolling or jogging along the promenade. You'll also enjoy seeing a line of cherry trees, turned fantastically light pink in spring, on the Kanda Riverside here at Kita-Shinjuku.

On the Suehiro-bashi Bridge spanned the Kanda River, you can see high-rise buildings at Nishi-Shinjuku near at hand. They give you an attractive composition in the scenery of the monotonous waterway.

JR Chuo Line: Higashi-Nakano Sta.
