Have a few minutes for staying here on the way of a good walk at Mejiro.
Here is a little rest space on the steel-made arch Chitose Bridge where
Mejiro Street runs through.
The bridge is designated one of the best bridges of Tokyo, and is the first overpass in Tokyo, completed in 1933.
So it spans not waters but Meiji Street.
You can enjoy watching a lovely tram running through under a small bridge adjacent to the Chitose Bridge.
High-rise buildings at Shinjuku are also visible in the distance on your left.
