Climax Series
2nd stage:Hiroshima Carp vs Tokyo Giants
Oct 19
The Giants could not lose anymore if it wanted to see Yoshinobu Takahashi as it's manager as Takahashi is stepping down the end of the season. The Giants hit in a run first. But in the 5th inning Hayato Sakamoto could not get a grounded ball with bases loaded. The error cost the Giants 2 runs The Giants lost again 1 to 5. The season's ended for the Giants. Ryosuke Kikuchi was chosen Climax Series MVP.

2nd stage:Hiroshima Carp vs Tokyo Giants
Oct 18
The Giants Taguchi Kazuto pitched well, shutting out the Carp in 7 innings. But the closers gave up 4 runs, including an RBI to Takahiro Arai then a 3 run homer to Ryosuke Kikuchi. The game ended 4 to 1 for the Carp.

2nd stage:Hiroshima Carp vs Tokyo Giants
Oct 17
The Giants starter was Cristopher Mercedes. The Carp Seiya Suzuki hit off a 2 run home run in the 4th inning. In the 6th inning, Casey McGehee hit in a run. But the Carp took the lead with Yoshihiro Maru's home run in the 7th inning. The Carp's started Daichi Osera pitched well. The Carp won 6 to 1.

1st stage:Yakult Swallows vs Tokyo Giants
Oct 14
The Giants Hisayoshi Chono homered, followed by Casy McGehee. Yoshiyuki Kamei slammed a 2 run home run. Meanwhile started Tomoyuki Sugano was pitching well. But he gave up a walk to Tetsudo Yamada. In the end, Sugano hurled a no hitter game to give the Giants a 4 to 0 win, and advance to the 2nd stage.

Oct 13
Yasuhiro Ogawa has a good record against the Giants for the past 3 years. He started for the Swallows. The Giants Kazumasa Okamoto hit in a sacrifice RBI off him in the first inning. The Swallows equalized in the 2nd inning on Yuhei Nakamura's run off Nobutaka Imamura. In the 3rd inning, Hayato Sakamoto homered. Koji Uehara came on, and Shun Yamaguchi closed the game for the Giants 4 to 1 win.

Oct
The Swallows beat the Giants on Oct 1, defeated the BayStars the next day on Wladimir Balentien's 2 run homer and secured 2nd place in the league finish, and it's place in the Climax Series. The competition for one more place in the Climax series continue between the BayStars and the Giants. Meanwhile, Giants manager Yoshinobu Takahashi announced he is stepping down after this season as he did not take the team to a leave victory during his 3 year term. After that announcement on Oct 4, the Giants Tomoyuki Sugano shut out the Carp and won his 15th game.

Sept
On Sept 29, the Giants lost to the Carp, but won in the 9th inning, on a RBI by Hisayoshi Chono. The Tigers Shintaro Fujinami shut out the Dragons on Sept 29.

Fierce competition for a place in the climax series continues. The BayStars has a chance, defeated the Tigers on Sept 27 to rise to 3rd place with 2 homers by Neftali Soto. The order was reversed with the Giants defeating the BayStars on Sept 28 on Hisayoshi Chono's game winning homerun. By the way former slugger Shuichi Murata's retirement ceremony was held after the game with the 2 teams he played with.

On Sept 26, the Carp beat the Swallows to become league champion 3 years in a row. It lost the next game but won the 3rd.

From Sept 23, the Carp played against the BayStars. It won the first game, but lost the next as Neftali Soto homered twice, and on 24 Sept the BayStars blasted with homers by Yoshitomo Tsutugo and Jose Lopez. The Swallows delayed the Carp's league victory winning all 3 games from Sept 23 against the Dragons. The Giants beat the Tigers on Sept 23, tied the next day.

On Sept 20 the Tigers beat the Carp in a game held until past midnight. The Tigers lost the next day, but won on Sept 22. The BayStars played against the Dragon from Sept 21 and won 2 games. On Sept 22, Yoshitomo Tsutugo blasted a 3 run home run, his 37th home run of the season.

With the season coming into the end, rained out games are rescheduled. The Tigers have the most number of games lest. On Sept 19 it payed against the Swallows and lost to Tetsuto Yamada's 3 run home run. The BayStars beat the Giants.

The Carp's Xavier Batista slammed a 3 run homerun to defeat the Swallows on Sept 16. The Giants Shinnosuke Abe grandslammed to clobber the Dragons but lost the next day. The Tigers Yusuke Oyama blasted 2 homers and Shintaro Fujinami slammed his first grand slam to beat the BayStars 20 to 4 on Sept 17. The next day the BayStars Neftali Soto slammed a game winning home run to defeat the Tigers.

From Sept 14, the Giants lost 2 games to the BayStars. The Swallows are in good shape defeating the Tigers in 2 games. The Carp beat the Dragons with Yoshiro Maru's 3 run home run on Sept 15.

The Carp's consecutive loss stopped on Sept 12 by defeating the BayStars and again the next day it's won on Seiya Suzuki's 2 run homer. The Giants are doing poorly losing 2 of 3 games against the Swallows and tying 1 from Sept 11. The Dragons faced the Tigers winning the first, losing the next and won the 3rd in which Daisuke Matsuzaka picked up his birthday victory.

The Dragons defeated the Carp from Sept 7 in all 3 games. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows. The Giants played the Tigers on Sept 8 and won on Kazuma Okamoto's 2 run home run.

On Sept 4 the Carp beat the Tigers in a competitive game but lost the next 2. The Swallows defeated the Dragons in the first 2 games by not the 3rd. The Giants lost to Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's 2 home runs in the game against the BayStars on Sept 5.

The Carps winning streak continues. It defeats the Swallows on both Sept 1 and 2. The Giants tied with the Dragons on Sept 1 and got out Daisuke Matsuzaka in the next game with homers by Kazuma Okamoto and Yoshiyuki Kamei. The BayStars and the Tigers won a game each.

Aug
The Carp beat the Dragons on Aug 31 winning its 4th straight game. The Giants won on a good pitch by Cristopher Mercedes against the Dragons.

The Carp was too powerful beat the Giants in all 3 games from Aug 28. The Swallows are in good shape beating the Tigers in all 3 games. The Baystars Neftali Soto slammed 2 home runs on Aug 28 to beat the Dragons, but lost the next game. On Aug 30, Yoshitomo Tsutsugo blasted a 3 run home run to win again.

The Carp faced the Dragons from Aug 14, the Dragons won 2 of 3 games. The Giants won the first 2 games against the Tigers including home runs by Kazuma Okamoto but lost the 3rd game. The BayStars beat the Swallows in the first game, lost the next 2. Wladimir Balentien slammed a 2 run home run.

On Aug 21 the Swallows clinched the game against the Carp. but the Carp won the next 2. The Giants beat the BayStars in the first game but the BayStars won the next 2 games on Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's home runs. The Dragons defeated the Tigers in 2 of 3 games.

The Carp faced the BayStars from Aug 17. It lost the first game, won the next in which pitcher Daichi Osera won his 13th game, and won the game on Aug 19 too. The Dragons won its first game against the Giants. But the Giants Tomoyuki Sugano had a shut out victory the next day. The won on Aug 19 on Casy McGehee's game winning RBI. The Swallows won 2 games against the Tigers.

The Tigers played against the Carp from Aug 14, won the first and 3rd games. The Swallows defeated the Giants in a dramatic game on Aug 14 and rose to 2nd place. The Gianst won the next, on a 2 run homer by Kazuma Okamoto.The Swallows shut out the Giants on Aug 16. The BayStars won the first game against the Dragons but lost the next 2 including a game against Daisuke Matsuzaka.

The Carp won its 6th game in a row defeating the Giants on Aug 10, tied the next day, but lost on Aug 12 on Casy McGehee's 2 run home run. The Dragons won just on Aug 10 against the Swallows, losing the next 2. The Tigers won the first 2 games against the BayStars, lost the 3 to 2 homers by Neftali Soto and a homer by Yoshitomo Tsutsugo.

From Aug 7, the Giants faced the Tigers, won the first 2 games including a 3 run home run by veteran Shinnosuke Abe. It lost the 3rd to Yoshio Itoi's home run. The Swallows played against the BayStars on Aug 7 and 9 and won both with home runs by Tetsuto Yamada and Wladimir Balentien. The Carp on Aug 9 marked its 5th win in a row defeating the Dragons.

On Aug 3 the BayStars beat the Carp in a 11 inning game. The Carp won the next 2. The Dragon won the first game against the Giants. The Giants won the next on Hisayoshi Chono's home run. Then the game after the Giants Casey McGehee. The Tigers won 2 competitive games from the Swallows from Aug 4.

On Aug 1 the Carp's Seiya Suzuki homered,Yoshihiro Maru homered to beat the Swallows. The Swallows won the next day. The Giants Kazumasa Okamoto slammed a 3 run homerun on Aug 1 to beat the BayStars. The next day Cristopher Mercedes hurled over the distance to help the Giants win.

July
On Jul 31, the Carp defeated the Swallows. The Dragons won it's 3rd game in a row defeating the Tigers. The Giants former ace Tetsuya Utsumi shut out the BayStars.

The Giants at last won on Jul 27. Shun Yamaguchi hurled a no-hitter game against the Dragons. But the Giants lost the next 2 games. The Swallows and the Tigers won a game each. The Carp and the BayStars did too.

The Carp continues to be in good shape winning 2 of 3 games against the Tigers from Jul 24. The Giants on the other hand is performing poorly succumbing to its 6th straight loss on Jul 26 by losing to the Swallows. The Dragons won on Jul 24 against the BayStars but lost the next 2.

The Carp faced the Giants from Jul 20 and won all 3 games. The BayStars won the first game against the Tigers, but in the next 2 games Yoshio Itoi who was back hit home runs in both to help the Tigers win.

After the all star break, regular games resumed on Jul 16. The Carp won the first 2 games against the Dragons. The Giants won all 3 against the Tigers. The BayStars losing streak reached 4 on Jul 17 losing its 2nd game to the Swallows. But that streak was stopped on Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's 2 homers on Jul 18.

The Giants played against the Carp in Tokyo from Jul 6. and won the first and second games. The Dragons could not play agains the Swallows on Jul 6 as baseball bats would not arrive due to heavy rain disrupting transportation. They played the next 2 days. The Dragons won both games. The Tigers and BayStars played on Jul 8 only. The BayStars won.

The Giants won the first game against the BayStars from Jul 3 but lost the next 2. The Dragons and the Tigers won a game each. The Carp played on Jul 4 to beat the Swallows.

The Giants new pitcher, a former Brewers started on Jul 1. He's Taylor Jungmann. He pitched well, contributing to the team's shut out win. The Carp clobbered the Baystars. The Tigers beat the Swallows.

June
The BayStars stopped the Carp's winning streak on Jun 29 and won the next game on Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's 2 run home run. The Tigers halted the Swallows winning streak on Jun 30 at 5. The Giants faced its 5th loss in a row on June 29 in the game against the Dragons.

The Carp from Jun 26 beat the Giants in all 3 games. The Swallows Norichika Aoki homered on June 26 and the next day too, and Tetsudo Yamada homered in the 3rd to beat the Dragons in all 3 games. The Tigers defeated the BayStars in all 3 games.

On June 22, teams were back fighting within the league. The Carp defeated the Tigers in all 3 games. Especially dramatic was the game on Jun 24, where Seiya Suzuki grand slammed. The Giants won the first 2 games against the Swallows including home runs by Kazuma Okamoto and Casy McGehee. but lost the 3rd. The Dragons won the first 2 games against the BayStars. In the 3rd game Yoshitomo Tsutsugo homered his 17th this season to help the BayStars win.

May
The Tigers defeated the Giants in all 3 games from May 25. The Carp won the first from the Dragons. The Dragons won the next 2 competitive games. The BaysStars won on the first game from the Swallows. The Swallows won the next 2.

The Giants played 2 games against the Carp from May 23. The Giants won the first on Shun Yamaguchi's shut out victory, while the Carp won the next on Arai's 3 run homer. The Tigers won 2 games against the Swallows in both games Rosario batted in runs. The Dragons 40 year old pitcher Daisuke Yamai shut out the BayStars on May 23. The BayStars won the next on May 25 on Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's home run.

On May 18, the Giants Tomoyuki Sugano not only pitched well. He homered, along with Hatato Sakamoto to defeat the BayStars. But the next 2 days it was Tsutsugo who blasted homers after homers 2 run homer to defeat the Giants. The news was not about the Dragons winning simply 2 games from the Tigers, but its starter Daisuke Matsuzaka winning his 2nd games by hurling 6 innings on May 20. The Carp won 2 games against the Swallows.

From May 15 the Dragon won 2 of 3 games against the Carp. The Giants lost the first againsy the Swallows in which Norichika Aoki homered. The Giants clinched the next game. The BayStars beat the Tigers in 2 games and rose to 3rd place in the league.

On May 11, Tomoyuki Sugano had his first shut out victory of the year, in a game against the Dragons. The Dragons won the next game with home runs by Dayan Viciedo and Zoilo Almonte. The Giants won the 3rd game in which the Dragons legendary pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka started but did not last 3 innings. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows from May 11. The Carp won 2 games it's played.

The Tigers and the Giants played against eachother From May 8. The Tigers clobbered the Giants in the first. The Giants Yoshiyuki Kamei homered to help his team win the next. On May 10, starting pitcher Tetsuya Utsumi won for the first time this season and Shinnosuke Abe blasted a 3 run home run. The Giants rose to 2nd place. The Dragons and the Swallows tied in the first game. The Dragons won the next.

The Swallows David Buchanon had a shut out victory against the Carp on May 4. The Carp won the next day on Ryosuke Kikuchi's 2 run home run. But on May 5, The Swallows clinched an 11 inning game. The Giants and the BayStars had not runs in the first game. The Giants won the next. The BayStars won the 3rd on homers by Jose Lopez. The Dragons won the first game against the Tigers, the Tigers won the next 2.

The Carp won 2 games it played against the Giants from May 1 and won both. The Tigers beat the BayStars in 2 games and replaced the Giants for 2nd place. The Dragons won the first 2 games against the Swallows but lost the 3rd on Wladimir Balentien's 2nd homerun of the game.

April
The Carp's Seiya Suzuki grand clammed on Apr 28 to defeat the Tigers. The Carp won the next day too but lost on Apr 30. The Giants Tomoyuki Sugano shut out the Swallows on Apr 28. The Giants won all 3 games against the Swallows and extended its winning streak to 8. The BayStars Jose Lopez slammed a 2 run homer against the Dragons on Apr 28. The next day it was Yoshitomo Tsutsugo. On Apr 30, the Dragons starting pitcher was superstar Daisuke Matsuzaka. He had runners on base but hurled 6 innings and for the first time in 12 years won a game in Japan, defeating the BayStars.

The Carp was back on track from Apr 24, rising to first place by defeating the BayStars. It won the next 2 games. The Giants pitcher Shun Yamaguchi pitched well on Apr 24 striking out 9 against the Dragons. The Giants hit in 20 runs the next day to win. The Tigers beat the Swallows on Apr 25.

The Giants beat the Tigers in all 3 games from Apr 20. It includes a shut out by its ace pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano. Kazuma Okamoto blasted a 3 run home run. The Dragons stopped the Carp's winning streak at 5 on Apr 20 and won the next 2 games too. The Swallows Wladimir Balentien slammed a 2 run home run to defeat the BayStars on Apr 22.

Yoshiyuki Kamei plasted a 2 run homer for the Giants on Apr 17 to defeat the BayStars. On Apr 19 the Giants faced a shut out loss. The Carp is doing well beating the Swallows in all 3 games from Apr 17. The Tigers beat the Dragons in 2 games from Apr 18.

The Giants at last stopped it's losing streak with Kazumasa Okamoto's 2 run homerun on Apr 13 in the game against the Carp. But lost the next 2 games. The BayStars surged to first place defeating the Dragons on Apr 13. The next day it's winning streak extended to 7 on home runs by Yoshitomo Tsutsugo and Jose Lopez and won the day after too. The Swallows won the first 2 games against the Tigers, but the Tigers won on Apr 15 with a 2 run homer by Yoshio Itoi.

The Giants is in the pits, losing against the BayStars in all 3 games from Apr 10. The Dragons Yuya Yanai, hurled over the distance against the Swallows and won on Apr 10. The Dragons won the next 2 games. The Tigers beat the Carp in the first 2 games and lost the 3rd.

The Giants faced the Swallows from Apr 6 and lost all 3 games. The Carp beat the BayStars in the first game but lost the next 2. On Apr 8, the BayStars slugger Yoshitomo Tsutsugo slammed his first homers of the season. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Tigers.

Apr 3 was a day of celebration for the Giants. It's Koji Uehara and Yoshinobu Takahashi's birthday. And the team beat the Dragons. The Giants lost the next game but won the 3rd, defeating the Dragons started by injury recovered superstar Daisuke Matsuzaka. The Carp won its 4th straight game by defeated the Swallows on Apr 3,but lost the next day to Norichika Aoki's RBI. It won on Apr 5 on Yoshihiro Maru's 3 run home run. The Tigers beat the BayStars on Apr 4 and again the nex day as Randy Messenger pitched well.

The Giants won its 3rd game against the Tigers, again on Kazumasa Okamoto's 3 run home run. Koji Uehara pitched well again even if it's just one inning. The Carp has not been defeated yet this season beating the Dragons on Apr 1. The BayStars won its first game of the season by beating the Swallows.

March
The season kicked off on March 30. The Giants season started with a loss even though its ace pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano started. The Tigers Randy Messenger was the winning pitcher. The Giants clinched a competitive game on Mar 31. 21 year old Kazumasa Okamoto slammed a 3 run home run. Koji Uehara back from MLB, hurled well in 1 inning to help the team win. The Carp started the season by winning the first 2 games against the Dragons. The Swallows won 2 games against the BayStars.
