October 30 at Yahoo Dome (audience 36,068)
Tadashi Settsu started for the first time this Japan Series. It was Randy Messenger for the Tigers. The Tigers cannot lose anymore. Skipper Yutaka Wada changed the order of the players around, putting Matt Murton first. But it was the Hawks that scored in the 8th inning. Nobuhiro Matsuda hit in a run. In the 9th inning, Dennis Sarfate pitched. He filled the base with just an out. Tsuyoshi Nishioka batted the ball. A runner was killed at home. The catch threw to first to kill Nishioka but instead hit Nishioka who ran inside the line. That was ruled as a violation on the part of Nishioka. He was out. The game was over. The Hawks won 1 to 0 and clinched its 6th Japan Series victory.

October 29 at Yahoo Dome (audience 35,861)
In the first inning, Nobuhiro Matsuda hit in 2 runs from the Tigers starter Minoru Iwata. In the 3rd inning, Matt Murton scored a run on a sacrifice fly off the Hawks starter Kenichi Nakata. Then Kosuke Fukudome hit in a run.He himself was out on 2nd base. The game went into into the 10th inning. The Tigers appeared to take the opportunity when Tsuyoshi Nishioka and Takashi Toritani got on base. But Mauro Gomez ruined the change with a double play. In the bottom of that inning, Akira Nakamura hit off a 3 run home run from Oh Seung-Hwanto to end the game. The Hawks won 5 to 2.It only needs one more win to clinch the series.

October 28 at Yahoo Dome (audience 35,527)
Starting for the Hawks Kenji Otonari. Tigers, starter Shintaro Fujinami. In the first inning, the Hawks Seiichi Uchikawa hit in the first run for both sides on his 2 base hit. Fujinami did not last 5 innings. Next Uchikawa hit a run off Yuya Ando. Dennis Sarfate closed the game for the Hawks 5 to 1 win.

October 26 at Koshien Stadium (audience 45,259)
The Tigers Atsushi Noumi started and for the Hawks 21 year old Shota Takeda. In the first inning, the Hawks hit in a run first. It's on Seiichi Uchikawa's hit. And another run was hit in. In the 4th inning, Lee Dai-Ho homered. In the 6th inning, the Tigers replaced Noumi with Keisuke Kanou who hit himself on base. He came home on Tsuyoshi Nishioka's run. The game was not an easy one for the Hawks. It lost a runner on base in the 9th inning. But Dennis Sarfate managed to close the game. The Hawks won 2 to 1 against the Tigers.

October 25 at Koshien Stadium (audience 45,293)
The Tigers starter was Randy Messenger. For the Hawks Jason Standridge who used to play for the Tigers. In the 4th inning the Hawks Mauro Gomez hit in a run. In the 5th, Stanridge walked Tsuyoshi Nishioka and Takashi Toritani. Gomez and Matt Murton drove in runs. The Hawks had a big chance in the 6th inning when they loaded the bases. But only a runner came home on Lee Dae-Ho's sacrifice fly. Closing the game Oh Seung-Hwan. The Tigers won 6 to 2.
