Climax Series
2nd stage: Nippon Ham Fighters vs Fukuoka Softbank Hawks
The Hawks could not stop the Fighters. The Fighters won on Oct 19 too 4 to 2. The Fighters advanced to the Japan Series. For the Hawks superstar Hiroki Kokubo, it became his last game of his baseball career. Both teams commemorated it with flowers and lifting him up in the air many times.

On Oct 18, the Fighters Yoshio Itoi homered again to help his team beat the Hawks 3 to 0.

In the first game on Oct 17, the Fighters Yoshio Itoi slammed a home run to equalize. Pinch hitter Tomohiro Nioka hit in a game winning run. The Fighters defeated the Hawks 3 to 2.

1st stage: Seibu Lions vs Fukuoka Softbank Hawks
Wily Mo Pena hit in the Hawks first run on Oct 15. Although the Lions tried to get in runs, they were no enough. The Hawks won 3 to 2 and advanced to the 2nd stage.

The Hawks starter on Oct 14 was rookie Sota Takeda. He was clobbered, starting with Shogo Akiyama's RBI followed by Hiroyuki Nakajima's. In the end the Lions won 8 to 0.

For the Lions on Oct 13, the starter was Kazuhira Makita. For the Hawks Tadashi Settsu. The Hawks scored first on Kenta Imamiya's squeeze. The Hawks kept the lead by defeating the Lions 2 to 1.

October
The league's regular season was wrapped up with the Fighter defeating the Marines on Oct 9.

The Buffaloes pitcher Yuki Nishi achieved a feat on Oct 8. It's a no hitter game against the Hawks. This turned out to be the last game for the Hawks this season and the last for Hiroki Kokubo who received a bouquet from superstar Sadaharu Oh. On the same day the Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka managed to win his 10th game by shutting out the Marines.

On Oct 5, super rookie Yuki Saito who was demoted to the minors was given a chance to start for the Fighters. But he was knocked out in the 5th inning. His team lost to the Golden Eagles. The Hawks lost that day to the Buffaloes.

The Golden Eagles had a chance to advance to the climax series but on Oct 4 its tied with the Lions, and with that the team's hope was shattered.

It's a countdown for the Fighters until winning the league title. On Oct 2, the Fighters did not play, but from the previous day, runner up the Lions lost 2 games to the Marines. Taking on the results, the Fighters secured the pennant. On Oct 3 the Fighter finally played in front of fans, but lost that game to the Hawks.

September
The top 2 team faced eachother from Sept 28. The Fighters Sho Nakata homered twice to defeat the Lions. The Fighters won the next day too, but lost to the Hawks on Sept 30 including 2 homers by Hiroki Kokubo.

The Fighters tied against the Marines on Sept 25 then won the next 2 games. The Lions won the first and 3rd game against the Golden Eagles. The Hawks Shota Takeda shut out the Buffaloes on Sept 25, but the Buffaloes won the next day.

The Lions played against the Fighters from Sept 21. The Lions clinched the first 2 competitive game, but lost the 3rd to Sho Nakata's 4 RBIs. The Marines defeat the Buffaloes in all 3 games giving the Buffaloes its 11th loss in a row on Sept 24. The Golden Eagles tied the first game with the Hawks, and lost the 2nd, won on Kaz Matsui's 2 run homer on Sept 24. On the 23rd it's game was rained out.

The Fighters won all 3 games against the Buffaloes from Sept 17. The Lions lost the first two against the Hawks, and managed to win on Sept 19. The Marines on Sept 17 rose to 4th place replacing the Golden Eagles its defeated. It became the other way around on Sept 18. On Sept 19 the Golden Eagles won again on Akihisa Makita's grand slam.

The Lions gave up first place again to the Fighters on Sept 15 losing against the Marines Saburo's 2 base hit. The Fighters marked its 2nd win in a row that day against the Hawks. On Sept 16 both the Fighters and the Lions lost. The Golden Eagles won all 3 games against the Buffaloes from Sept 14.

The Fighters took over first place from the Lions on Sept 11. The Lions returned to first place on Sept 12 by defeaing the Buffaloes. The Hawks Tadashi Settsu won his 15th game on Sept 11 thanks to Wily Mo Pena's home run against the Golden Eagles. The Hawks marked its 5th win in a row in the next, but lost on Sept 13.

The Golden Eagles defeated the Lions in all 3 games from Sept 7. The Fighters won the first, lost the next to the Buffaloes Lee Dae-Ho's base hit. The Marines lost all 3 games to the Hawks and extended its losing steak to 8 on Sept 9

The Lions played against the Hawks from Sept 4, lost the first game, but won the next 2 games. The Fighters defeated the Golden Eagles in the first game but lost the next. The Marines succumbed to its 5th loss in a row against the Buffaloes on Sept 5.

The Lions marked its 3rd win in a row on Sept 2 against the Marines. The Fighters too won it's 3rd games in a row against the Hawks. The Buffaloes won on Sept 1 against the Golden Eagles, the teams tied the next day and on Sept 3 the Buffaloes won in the only game of the day.

August
The Lions Takeya Nakamura with a 3 run home run helped defeat the Marines. The Hawks and the Fighters tied in a 10 inning game. The Golden Eagles defeated the Buffaloes on Jose Fernandez's home run.

The Lions on Aug 28 won on Hisashi Takayama's 3 run home run against the Fighters. The Lions won the next day too but lost on the 3rd day. The Hawks Tadashi Settsu shut out the Buffaloes on Aug 28. It didn't play the next day and on Aug 30 the Buffaloes won. The Marines defeated the Golden Eagles in all 3 games.

The Fighter defeated the Golden Eagles on Aug 24, but faced a shut out loss to Masahiro Tanaka the next day. The Lions beat the Buffaloes in 2 games. The Hawks clobbered the Marines in the first game but tied in the next.

The Fighters replaced the Lions for first place on Aug 21 by defeating the Buffaloes, while the Lions lost to the Hawks. The Fighters won the next but lost the 3rd to the Buffaloes. The Lions lost to the Hawks another game but won the game on Aug 23 on Takeya Nakamura's 2 run home run. The Golden Eagles faced its 4th defeat in a row on Aug 21, but won the next 2 games.

Teams are in close competition. The Lions from Aug 17 defeated the Golden Eagles in all 3 games and emerged to 1st place. The Fighters won the first 2 games against the Marines, but lost the 3rd. The Hawks Yang Hao-Hsun shut out the Buffaloes on Aug 17. The Hawks won the next 2 games too.

The Fighters lost its first game to the Golden Eagles on Aug 14, won the next but lost to 18 year old Yoshinao Kamata to a shut out. The Lions are doing good, defeating the Buffaloes in the first 2 games and tying in the last. The Marines won the first game against the Hawks with Seth Greisinger hurling over the distance. The Hawks won the next 2.

On Aug 10, the Lions Hiroyuki Nakajima blasted with hits to defeat the Fighters. The next day the Fighters Mitsuo Yoshikawa shut out the Lions. On Aug 12, the Lions Jose Ortiz homered twice to win. The Marines won the game on Aug 10 against thte Buffaloes but lost the next two. The Golden Eagles and the Hawks won a game each and tied in the 3rd on Aug 12.

From Aug 7, the Lions and the Marines each won a game and tied in one. The Fighters faced the Hawks lost the first, won the next. The Golden Eagles and the Buffaloes tied in the first, the Golden Eagles won the next 2 games.

On Aug 1, the Fighters defeated the Marines to regain first place but the Marines won the next on Josh Whitesell's grand slam. The Hawks beat the Golden Eagles on Aug 1. The Lions and the Buffaloes tied on Aug 2.

July
In the only game played on Jul 30, the Lions bet the Buffaloes on Shogo Akiyama's 3 run home run. The next day the Buffaloes won with homers by Aarom Baldiris and Lee Dae-Ho. The Fighters defeated the Marines with a 3 run homer by Atsunori Inaba and surged to first place.

The Marines Yoshihisa Naruse won his 10th victory against the Hawks on Jul 27. The teams tied the next day and the Hawks won on Jul 29 with a home run by Nobuhiro Matsuda. The Golden Eagles and the Lions tied on Jul 27. The Lions won the next 2 games. The Buffaloes won on Jul 27 with a 2 run home run by Keiji Obiki The Fighter won the next day but was defeated by the Lions.

After the all star game, the Marines lost against the Lions in 2 games from Jul 25. The Fighters beat the Hawks in 2 games and so did the Buffaloes against the Golden Eagles.

The Marines defeated the Golden Eagles on Jul 16, but in the next game it was the other way around. The Fighters and the Lions tied in the first game and the Fighters won the next game. The Hawks marked its 4th win in a row on Jul 16 beating the Buffaloes but lost the next day.

On Jul 13, high school rivals Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka and the Fighters idol Yuki Saito faced eachother.Ma-kun won the game. The Golden Eagles lost the next and won the 3rd. The Hawks won all 3 games against the Marines. The Lions won 2 games against the Buffaloes played from Jul 14.

The Marines lost to the Fighters birthday boy Masaru Takeda on Jul 10. Both teams were unable to hit in runs the next day. On Jul12 the Fighters won with a marvelous 3 consecutive homers by Sho Nakata, Atsunori Inaba and Dai-Kang Yoh. The Lions beat the Hawks on Jul 10, then lost on Nobuhiro Matsuda's 3 run home run, and won on Jul 12 The Golden Eagles Shintaro Masuda slammed a 3 run home run on Jul 10 to defeat the Buffaloes. The Buffaloes won the next day on T Okada's RBI.

The Marines played against the Buffaloes from Jul 6. The Buffaloes won on Lee Dae-Ho and Shunichi Nemoto's home run in the first game, lost the next despite Nemoto's 2 run home run, then won the 3rd. The Fighters and the Hawks finished a draw in the first game, the Hawks won the next 2. The Golden Eages won the first 2 games, and the 3rd in which rookie pitcher Tasuya Onishi earned his first win in pro baseball.

In the only game played on Jul 3 in the league, the Buffaloes defeated the Fighters The Fighters the next day suffered its 4th loss in a row. The losing streak eneded on Jul 5. On Jul 4 the Marines Yoshihisa Naruse won his 8th game and Yuki Karakawa did to the following day, both beating the Golden Eagles. The Lions from Jul 4 beat the Hawks in both games.

On Jul 1 the Marines beat the Buffaloes. The Golden Eagles clinched the game from the Hawks in th 11th inning. The Lions and the Fighters had a draw.

June
The Marines and the Buffaloes tied on Jun 29, the Buffaloes won with Hayato Terahara shutting out the Marines. The Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka won a shut out game too by hurling over the disatance. It's against the Hawks. The Golden Eagles won the next day as well. The Fighters lost over the Lions in 2 games.

The Lions won the first game against the Fighters from Jun 26, but lost the next 2. The Hawks and the Buffaloes tied on Jun 26, the Hawks won the next and the Buffaloes the 3rd. The Golden Eagles beat the Fighters in the first 2 games, and the Fighters won the 3rd.

Games were back played within the league from June 22. The Hawks won all 3 games against the Fighters. The 3rd game was especially highlighted as Hiroki Kokubo who was back from injury recorded his 2000th hit. The Golden Eagles beat the Marines in the first game thanks to Masahiro Tanaka hurling over the distance, and won again the next game. The teams tied in the 3rd game. The Lions Hideki Wakui was back after suspended from playing due to a scandal. He pitched as a closer, but the Lions tied against the Buffaloes in the first game. The Lions won the next with Wakui earning his first save and won on June 24 too, but lost the 4th game against the Buffaloes.

May
The Marines overwhelmed the Hawks from May 11, clinching all 3 games. The Golden Eagles extended its winning streak to 5 on May 13 defeating the Buffaloes. The Fighters super idol Yuki Saito was clobbered giving up 9 runs on May 12. The Lions won. The Lions won the next game too.

From May 8, the Hawks played against the Buffaloes. The Buffaloes Kaneko Chihiro started in the first and won. New pitcher former Tigers ace Kei Igawa started but left the mound in the 2nd inning due to pain in his thigh. His team lost. The 3rd game was a tie. The Golden Eagles won 2 of 3 games against the Lions. The Fighters and the Marines won a game each.

The Hawks played against the Golden Eagles from May 4, lost the first, but won the next with homers by Wily Mo Pena. The Fighters Yuki Saito won the first game against the Buffaloes. It lost the next but won the third. The Marines won the first 2 games against the Lions and tied in the 3rd.

The Hawks defeated the Fighters in all 3 games from May 1 with great contribution by Wily Mo Pena. The Buffaloes defeated the Marines in the first 2 games while in the last the Marines Shusuke Watanabe at last won his first game this season. The Golden Eagles won the first 2 game against the Lions. The Lions won the 3rd.

April
The Marines on Apr 29 was able to stop its losing streak at 3 in the game against the Hawks. The Marines won again on Apr 30. The Lions won the first 2 games against the Buffaloes from Apr 28. On Apr 30, the Lions lost to the Buffaloes in the final inning. The Fighters and the Golden Eagles tied on Apr 28. The teams one a game each after that.

The Hawks defeated the Lions on Apr 24, but lost the next 2. The Fighters winning streak ended on Apr 24 in the game against the Marines. But it won the next 2 games which includes contributions by Atsunori Inaba. The Buffaloes succumbed to is 5th loss in a row on Apr 24 playing against the Golden Eagles. But the next day it managed to win.

On Apr 20 the Fighters Yuki Saito had his first over the distance shut out victory in pro baseball and it was against the Buffaloes. The Fighters won the next 2 games too. The Lions Kazuhisa Ishii started on Apr 20 and shut out the Marines. The Marines won the next 2 games. The Hawks played against the Golden Eagles from Apr 21 and won the first game on Nobuhiro Matsuda's grand slam. but lost the next day.

The Fighters marked its 3rd win in a row defeating the Lions on Apr 16. The Lions won the next game and on Apr 19, the Fighters won on Atsunori Inaba's 2 RBIs. On Apr 17, the Hawks Wily Mo Pena's 2 run homer supported the team to win beating the Buffaloes. But the next day it was the Buffaloes that won, even though the Hawks hit in many runs tooB

On Apr 13 the Hawks and Marines tied. The next day the Marines Yuki Karakawa hurled over the distance to win. And his team won on Apr 15 too. Superstars, Yuki Saito of the Fighters and Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka pitched against eachother. Tanaka had more luck and he won. The next day 2 games, the Fighters won.

The Hawks played against the Fighters from Apr 10. It won the first game with a 2 run home run by Nobuhiro Matsuda. The Fighters clobbered the Hawks in the next game with a grand slam and a 3 run homer by Atsunori Inaba. On Apr 12, the Hawks won on Kenji Otonari shut out pitch. The Lions defeated the Golden Eagles on Apr 10. That day the Marines Seth Greisenger pitched well to defeat the Buffaloes. On Apr 12, the Buffaloes won.

The Hawks new player Wily Mo Pena was gearing up as he played more games from Apr 6 starting with a game leading run against the Lions, then on Apr 7 a game leading sacrifice fly. On Apr 8 Penha homered a 3 run and his team won all 3 games. On Apr 6, the Fighters Yuki Saito wo his 2nd game already against the Marines and the Fighters clinched the next 2 games too. The Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka could not win again on Apr 6, as the game against the Buffaloes a tie. The Golden Eagles won the next game on Jose Fernandez's RBI hit. On Apr 8 the Buffaloes Hiroshi Kisanuki shut out the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles had a good win on Apr 3 with Takahiro Shiomi hurling over the distance against the Hawks. On Apr 5 the Hakws defeated the Golden Eagles. The Buffaloes won the first 2 games against the Fighters from Apr 3. On Apr 5, the Fighters Sho Nakata homered, his first hit of the season and his team won to put an end to a losing streak at 3. Seth Greisinger who has been acquired from the Giants to play with the Marines hurled over the distance to help his team defeat the Lions.

The Hawks starting pitcher on Apr 1 was Nagisa Arakaki who was in the minor team for the past season. He won for the first time in 4 years by hurling over the distance. The Lions won its first game of the season on Takeya@Nakamura's home run. The Marines won its 3rd game in a row against the Golden Eagles.

March
The Pacific League opened without Yu Darvish, Tsuyoshi Wada nor Hisashi Iwakuma who all have left for MLB. The Hawks won its first game of the season on Mar 30 against the Buffaloes. It's on Nobuhiro Matsuda's 2 run home run. The Hawks won agains the next day. The Fighters opening game was started by idol pitcher Yuki Saito facing the Lions. He hurled over the distance for the first time since turning pro. The next day the Fighters clinched the game on Kensuke Tanaka's RBI. The Golden Eagles starter for its first game was newly wed Masahiro Tanaka. But Tanaka lost 4 runs and the Marines won the game. The Golden Eagles lost the next game too.
