2nd stage: Nippon Ham Fighters vs Fukuoka Softbank Hawks
Oct 16
In this game the Hawks led with runs to begin with. Then slowly the Carp recorded runs, including a home run by Sho Nakata. The Fighters eventually hit in more runs. In the 9th inning Shohei Otani closed the game after hurly super fast ball or hitting 165 km/hr. With this 7 to 4 victory, the Carp secured the path to the Japan Series.

Oct 15
This time the Haws defeated the Fighers 5 to 2.

Oct 14
Brandon Laird hit in a 3 run home run. This helped the Fighters beat the Hawks 4 to 1.

Oct 13
It was a see saw game. The Fighters led with an RBI by Sho Nakata. In the 8th inning Nobuhiro Matsuda homered. Then in the 9th inning, the Hawks equalized on Yuichi Honda's RBI. Yuki Yanakita hit in a game winning hit. The Hawks won 6 to 4.

Oct 12
Shohei Otani started.He pitched well. His teammates also were strong. Sho Nakata slammed a 2 run homerun. The Fighters won 6 to 0.

1st stage: Fukuoka Softbank Hawks vs Chiba Lotte Marines
Oct 9
The Marines got to a good start on Kiyota Ikuhiro's home run in the 1st inning. In the 4th inning, the Hawks equalized on Kenji Ikuta's RBI hit. In the 5th inning,the Hawks gained the lead on Yuichi Honda's RBI. The Hawks won 4 to 1 and advanced to the 2nd stage.

Oct 8
Kodai Senga started for the Hawks. He lost 2 runs in the first inning. But Seiichi Uchikawa helped him make up for this with an RBI hit, then a home run. The Marines was started by Wakui. In the 8th inning,Kenta Imamiya hit in 2 runs. The Marines did not give up and hit in a run in the 9th inning, but that was not enough. The Hawks won 4 to 3.

September
The Fighters took the lead again from the Hawks. On Sept 28, on Shohei Otani started the game and needed to just win, regardless of what happens to the Hawks, and it beat the Lions. In this game Otani struck out 15.

With less games, the Fighters on Sept 13, remained in 1st place by defeating the Buffaloes. The next day, the Fighter lost to the Buffaloes. The Hawks defeated the Golden Eagles on runs by Seiichi Uchikawa. The Hawks returned to first place. The Hawks secured the rank as the Fighters lost again on Sept 15 to the Buffaloes Yoshio Itoi's 3 homers.

From Sept 6 the Hawks faced the Buffaloes, playing 4 games, losing 3 and fell to 2nd place while the Fighters rose to the top. The Fighters beat the Golden Eagles and took over first place on Sept 9.

From Sept 2 the Hawks defeated the Golden Eagles in 2 games but lost the 3rd. The Fighters lost the first game against the Buffaloes but won the next 2. The Lions and the Marines tied in the first games while the Marines won the next game.but not the third.

Tragedy for the Hawks. On Sept 1, Yuki Yanakita broke his finger bone. He may not be able to return to play this season. Still the Hawks defeated the Lions. The Fighter Sho Nakada blasted with 2 homers against the Golden Eagles. The Marines Tadahito Iguchi slammed a 3 run home run to beat the Buffaloes.

August
The Hawks Yuki Yanakita contined to blast beating the Lions on Aug 30 but lost to Tomoya Mori's RBI. The Fighters faced its 3rd straight loss on Aug 31 in the game against the Golden Eagles. The Buffaloes won 1 and lost 1 against the Marines.

The Fighters beat the Marines in all 3 games from Aug 23. The Hawks meanwhile lost 2 games to the Golden Eagles and the Fighters surged to first place on Aug 25. But that order reversed already the next day when the Fighters lost to the Lions and the Hawks defeated the Marines with a home run by Yuki Yanagita, The Hawks won the next game too on Yanakita's 3 run home run. It lost the 3rd game against the Marines, but the Fighters lost too.

The top 2 teams faced eachother from Aug 19. The Hawks Tsuyoshi Wada won his 13th game with a shut out victory. The Hawks won the next game too. The Lions are doing well marking its 5th straight win on Aug 20 by defeating the Marines. The Golden Eagles marked its 3rd win in a row on Aug 19 but lost the next games to the Buffaloes.

Interest towards pro baseball declined in August with sports news focusing on the Olympic Games. The Fighters have been doing well, marking its 5th straight win on Aug 18. Meanwhile, the Hawks lost its 3rd straight game.

The Hawks won the first 2 games from the Fighters from Aug 5, lost the 3rd. The Lions took the first game against the Golden Eagles, the Golden Eagles took the next 2. The Marines beat the Buffaloes in the first 2 games, while the Buffalos won the 3rd.

The Hawks beat the Lions on both Aug 2 and 3. The Marines beat the Fighters in the first game, but in the next game Shohei Otani blasted to take his Fighters to victory. The Golden Eagles defeated the Buffaloes in the first 2 games. Standing as of August 31

July
Top teams faced eachother from Jul 29. The Hawks won the first, the Fighers clinched the next game with a hit by a pitch with bases full, and also the next game with Shohei Otani hitting a 2 run home run. The Golden Eagles won the first 2 games from the Marines, but lost the 3rd. The Buffaloes won 2 games against 3 from the Lions.

The Hawks Shota Takeda marked a shut out win against the Golden Eagles in Jul 26. The Golden Eagles Wheeler helped his team win the next day. The Fighters beat the Lions in the first 2 games whereas on Jul 28 the Lions Shogo Akiyama blasted a 2 run homer to clinch the game. The Marines won the first game against the Buffaloes but lost the next 2.

On Jul 22, the Hawks Tsuyoshi Wada won his 10th game by keeping the Lions under control. The Lions won the next game, but the Hawks won the 3rd game on a homer by Nobuhiko Matsuda. The Marines won 2 of 3 games against the Golden Eagles. The Fighters winning streak ended at 5 in the game against the Buffaloes on Jul 24.

The Hawks took a shut out loss on Jul 18 and 19 against the Buffaloes and won the 3rd game with a home run by Yuki Yanakita. The Fighters defeated the Golden Eagles in 2 games. The Lions and the Marines won a game each.

The Fighters winning streak stretched to 15 on Jul 11 by defeating the Buffaloes, but that ended the next day. But the Fighters was back in winning mood the day after. The Lions Ernesto Mejia homered on Jul 11 to help the team beat the Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles won the next 2 games. The Hawks shut out the Marines on Jul 12 and 13.

The Hawks lost the first game against the Golden Eagles on Jul 8, but won the next 2 games. The Fighters beat the Marines in all 3 games. The Lions won the first game on home runs by Yuya Mori and Takeya Nakamura but lost the next 2 to the Buffaloes.

The Fighters beat the Golden Eagles on July 5. The Hawks losing streak ended at 4 on July 6 and the next day its starter Sho Iwasaki shut out the Buffaloes. The Marines Navarro hit in a team wnning RBI against the Lions on Jul 5. The Marines won the next 2 games too.

The Hawks are in a slump losing all 3 games against the Fighters from July 1. The Lions extended its losing streak to 6 on Jul 2, but that was ended with its win against the Golden Eagles the next day. The Marines and the Buffaloes won a game each.

June
On June 27, the Marines Hideaki Wakui hurled over the distance in the game against the Hawks and won. The didn't play the next day but played on the 29th which the Hawks clinched in the 10th inning, and won again on June 30. The Fighters Brandon Laird's RBI gave his team its 5th win in a row by defeating the Lions on June 27. The Fighters won the next 2 games. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles on June 28, but lost the next day.

Teams were back playing in their respective leagues from June 24. The Hawks won the first and 3rd games against the Golden Eagles. The Marines did too against the Lions, The Fighters Daikan Yoh homered twice on June 25 to help his team beat the Buffaloes. In the next game, Shohei Otani started and shut out the Buffaloes.

The Hawks continue to do well defeating the Marines in all 3 games from May 27. The Golden Eagles consecutive loss halted at 9 on May 27 defeating the Fighters. But the Fighters won the next 2 games. The Buffaloes T Okada homered a 2 run on May 28 and beat the Lions. While the next day the Lions Takeya Nakamura homered to defeat the Buffaloes.

The Hawks played an incredible game of hitting in 22 runs against the Buffaloes on May 25. It won the next 2 games too. The Marines Yamaico Navarro help his team win with a homer against the Fighters on May 25. The Marines won on May 26 too. The Lions beat the Golden Eagles in all 3 games.

The Buffaloes slugger T Okada homered twice and defeated the Mraines on May 20. It lost the next 2 games. The Lions and the Hawks faced eachother and won a game each. The Fighter won 2 games from the Golden Eagles.

The Fighters Shohei Otani homered to help beat the Hawks on May 17. The Hawks won the next day, but the Fighters was supported by Brandon Laird's home runs. The Marines won its 4th straight game on May 7 defeating the Lions, but lost the next game, and again the next in which the Lions Takeya Nakamura homered. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles in 2 games from May 17.

On May 14 the Fighters won the game against the Lions. The Lions beat the Fighters the next day on Takeya Nakamura's 3 run home run. The Hawks defeated the Buffaloes, The Marines won against the Golden Eagles on Alfredo Despaigne's RBI

The Hawks continued to play well on May 10. Yuki Yanagita blasted a 2 run home run against the Marines. Nobuhiko Matsuda homered the next day to defeat the Marines. But the Marines won the 3rd game. The Fighters Shohei Otani slammed a home run against the Buffaloes on May 10. The Fighters won the next day too. The Golden Eagles won 2 games against the Lions.

The Hawks faced the Golden Eagles from May 6 and won all 3 games. The Buffaloes T Okada helped his team win the first game with a home run. But lost the next two to the Marines. The Fighters defeated the Lions in 2 games against 1.

The Hawks on May 3 clinched the game against the Fighters in the 10th inning on Nobuhiko Matsuda's home run. They tied in the next game.The Hawks won the 3rd game. The Buffaloes defeated the Lions in the first game, but the Lions blasted in the next game with hoe runs by Ernesto Mejia and Takeya Nakamura. The Buffaloes won the 3rd game. The Golden Eagles clinched the first 2 games from the Marines. The Marines won the 3rd on Zelous Wheeler's home run.

On May 1, the Hawks Akira Nakamura slammed a 3 run homer on May 1 to defeat the Lions. The Fighters Shohei Otani at last won and Sho Nakata hit in runs to beat the Marines. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles.

The Lions beat the Hawks on Apr 29, while they tied the next day. The Marines Hideaki Wakui won his 5th game by beating the Fighters on Apr 29. The Marines won the next day too. The Golden Eagles beat the Buffaloes on Apr 29. The Buffaloes started Chihiro Kaneko secured his first win the next day.

The Hawks won the first and 2nd games against the Buffaloes from Apr 26. The Fighters won 2 games over the Golden Eagles. The Marines too won 2 games against the Lions.

On Apr 22,in the only game in the league played the Golden Eagles Kaz Matsui contributed with his RBI. On the next day, the Fighters beat the Hawks in a 10 inning game. The Lions and the Golden Eagles tied. In the next game the Lions Ernesto Mejia grand slammed. The Marines had a lucky win over the Buffaloes due to a wild pitch on Apr 23. The Buffaloes won the next.

The Marines fell to 2nd place losing to the Hawks on Apr 18. The Golden Eagles Motohiro Shima finished the game against the Buffaloes with his RBI on Apr 20. The Lions Ernesto Mejia was pumping with energy with base hits and a home run to help his team defeat the Fighters.

The Hawks beat the Golden Eagles on Seiichi Uchikawa's 3 run homerun on Apr 15. The game the next day was cancelled due to a strong earthquake hitting Kumamoto. The game on Apr 17 was played with the Hawks winning again on Yuki Yoshimura's home run. The Fighters won the first 2 games against the Marines, but los the 3rd even though Shohei Otani started. The Buffaloes are showing signs of recovery with it 3rd win in a row on Apr 15 in the game against the Lions, though it lost the next, it won again on Apr 17.

The Marines surged to first place on Apr 12 defeating the Golden Eagles. It kept the position with its 3rd win in a row the next day. The Hawks is doing good, winning agains the Lions. The Buffaloews faced its 5th loss in a row on Apr 12 in the game against the Fighters.

The Hawks and the Marines tied in the game on Apr 5. The Marines won the next 2. The Lions Hideto Asamura grand slammed on Apr 5 and starting pitcher Takayuki Kishi shut out the Fighters. The Lions won the next game too. The Golden Eagles beat the Buffaloes in the 2 games they faced eachother.

The Fighters Yang Dai Kang hit in a game winning run over the Hawks on Apr 1. The next day the Hawks Seiichi Uchikawa slammed a 2 run homer to take his team to a victory. The Fighters won the 3rd game. The Golden Eagles Yuki Matsui recorded his first save of the season in the game against the Lions on Apr 1. The Marines Daiichi Suzuki hit in a home run to defeat the Buffaloes on Apr 1.The Marines won the next game too but not the 3rd game.

The Fighters Shohei Otani blasted on Mar 28 with a 3 run home run and a total 5 RBIs against the Buffaloes. He homered the next game too.But his team lost. The Lions Takeya Nakamura homered on Mar 28 to take the team to a win over the Hawks. The Hawks won the next game with Nobuhiko Matsuda hitting in a run. The Marines Daichi Suzuki homered twice against the Golden Eagles on Mar 28. But the Golden Eagles won the next day with Manabu Mima shutting out the Marines.

The Golden Eagles reversed the lead from the Hawks to win on opening day, Mar 25. The teams tied in the next game. The Hawks won the 3rd game. The Lions won its first game against the Buffaloes on Ernesto Mejia's RBI. The Lions won the next game too, but lost the 3rd. The Fighters Shohei Otani lost to the Lions Hideaki Wakui. Alfredo Despaigne contributed with an RBI and so did he in the next day to also take the arines to victory. The Fighters won the 3rd game.
