MVP went to 38-year old Kazu Yamamoto of the Hawks who hit a 3 run homer.
It's his 2nd time to receive the award. He was so thrilled to receive the title,
he was almost breaking into tears during his hero interview.
ALL STAR VOTES
As expected, Ichiro of the Blue Wave earned the most number of votes. It was thought,
he'd get over a million votes. He received much less or 865,086. Anyway, for the second
year in the row he is Japan's most popular baseball player.
