July 16 Chiba Marine Stadium
Hideki Irabu of the Tigers started for the Central League and pitch 3 innings smoothly. His teammates blasted. Tomoaki Kanemoto slammed 2 homers. George Arias homered too. While in the opposing side, Alex Cabrera homered twice. And the Fighter Michihiro Ogasawara had a solo too. The Central League beat the Pacific League 5 to 3. Kanemoto was chosen MVP this time.

July 15 Osaka Dome
Kei Igawa of the Tigers and Hisashi Iwakuma of the Buffaloes started. It was a home run game. The first to homer was the Tigers' George Arias. Yoshitomo Tani of the BlueWave singled to tie the game. Then Kazuo Matsui of the Lions slammed a homer off the Giants' Koji Uehara. His teammate Alex Cabrera with a 2 run, extended the Pacific League's lead. But pinch hitter Yoshinobu Takahashi of the Giants blasted a 2 run, and another home run in the 9th to finish the game a 4 to 4 tie. Takahashi was chosen the game's MVP.
