The game was postponed due to rain for the first time in 18 years. Instead of on July 22, the game was held of the 23rd. The game took off with the Giants Shinnosuke Abe's RBI. The Fighters Satoru Morimoto homered to give the Pacific League a lead. Then the Dragons Alex Ochoa put the Central League ahead with a homerun. The see-saw game was wrapped up by the Tigers Atsushi Fujimoto's 2 runs batted in which gave him the MVP title. The Central League won 7 to 4. In this game, the BayStars Marc Kroon recorded a speedball of 160/km per hour.

July 21 Jingu Stadium (30,488 audience)
The Swallows Norichika Aoki hit himself on base off the Pacific League's starter, Lions Daisuke Matsuzaka. Aoki stole to 2nd, tried to steal 3rd but failed. The Marines Tomoya Satozaki homered. But the Giants Lee Seung Yeop managed to help the Central League equalize with his 2-base hit. Then, Norichiki Aoki homered. He was named MVP at the end of the game. Watching the pitchers were interesting too. Kyuji Fujikawa of the Tigers hurled fast balls of more than 150 km/hr that made sluggers like Alex Cabrera and Michihiro Ogasawara strike out. Marc Kroon hurled a speedball of 159 km/hr. In the end, the Central League won 3 to 1.
