Final day
Kotomitsuki who continues to be in a baseball betting scandal was not affected by the scandal and threw Baruto down. Its his 9th win. As for Baruto he finished with 10 wins. Kaio managed to reach Koto-o-shu's belt with his strong right hand, and with the grip, he drove out the Bulgarian. It's his career totaly 1000th win, making him only the 2nd to achieve such a feat. Hakuho and Harumafuji move ferociously in the bout. In the end, Hakuho drives out fellow Monolian to finish the tourney with a perfect record.

14th day
Kisenosato quickly pushed out Hakuba to win his 8th bout. Kotomitsuki and Harumafuji gave a mean stare at eachother. And before it was time, they surprisingly stood up to fight. Kotomitsuki pushed out the Mongolian. Baruto stood to receive Kitataiki's attack. Then the Estonian threw his opponent with an overarm throw. Kaio had a soft face off, then slightly positioned himself to the side, and pushed out Aminishiki for his majority win. Hakuho and Koto-o-shu both went for eachother's belt. In the end, the yokozuna pushed down the Bulgarian.

13th day
Harumafuji shoved Koto-o-shu out. Baruto shifted his position as he stood up to find. He beat Kisenosato. Kaio managed to win his 7th bout by driving Kakuryu down. Hakuho threw Kotomitsuki on the ring and with this win secured the Emperor's Cup.

12th day
Takamisakari drove out Kimurayama to secure a majority win. Asasekiryu drove out Aran who succumbed to his 3rd loss. In the bout against Harumafuji, Kaio pulled back taking his 6th loss. Kotomitsuki pulled back and lost to Kitataiki. Koto-o-shu was driven out the ring by Hakuba. Hakuho pushed out Baruto to improve his perfect record.

11th day
The day was painted as trouble for the sumo world. There are reports Kotomitsuki and other former sumo wrestlers have been involved in betting on pro baseball games which is illegal. Kotomitsuki however was able to overpower Hakuba to win his 7th bout. Koto-o-shu had a lucky win as Tochiozan's foot left the ring. Baruto lost to Harumafuji his 3rd bout. Hakuho remained on top by defeating Kaio.

10th day
Takamisakari drove out Wakakoryu for his 7th win. Aran banged into Yoshikaze and drove his opponent down to secure his majority win. Miyabiyama gave thrusts but in the end was pushed out by Tochiozan. Kaio got hold of Kotomitsuki's belt and drove him out. Both are 6-4. Hakuba kept himself barely in the ring while driving out Harumafuji. Hakuba earned his 8th win. Koto-o-shu immediately got himself in a good position to drive out Baruto. Hakuho gave Kisenosato thrusts. Then Kisenosato pulled back which enabled the yokozuna to push forward and win again.

9th day
Baruto drove Kaio out of the ring to secure a majority win. Harumafuji drove down Wakanosato for his 7th win. Kotomitsuki overwhelmed Tochiozan for his 5th win. Koto-o-shu was thrown by Asasekiryu and took his 3rd loss. Hakuho had a tough bout against Kakuryu but managed to push the younger Mongolian out to improve his clean record.

8th day
There was a very big upset today. Baruto gave Kakuryu thrusts. But Kakuryu took control and Baruto went down the ring. Kaio stopped his losing streak to win his 5th bout by beating Wakanosato. The other ozeki ozeki all won too. Hakuho grabbed Aminishiki's arm, then grabbed his body, and drove him out to secure a majority win.

7th day
Wakanosato earned his first win as his opponent Homasho pulled out. Harumafuji pushed out Kakuryu for his 5th win. Baruto powerfully forced Miyabiyama out of the ring. Toyonoshima drove Kaio down on the ring. Kotomitsuki clashed into Aminishiki and from the side thrust him down. Koto-o-shu managed to throw Kisenosato for his 5th win. Hakuho and Tochinoshin both changed positions as they faced off. They both tried to reach for eachother's belt. Hakuho succeeded and won by driving the Georgian out.

6th day
Shimotori won again by thrusting down Yoshikaze. Takamisakari was attacked to the verge of the ring. But the Roboco withstood Tamanoshima's drive and managed to make a counterattack and win his 4th bout. Tochinoshin lost to Toyonoshima's skillful maneuver. Baruto pulled back and thrust down Aminishiki for his 6th win. Kotoshogiku got hold of Kaio and shoved non stop to win. It's Kaio's 2nd loss. Homasho shifted position, but Kotomitsuki followed him closely and won with a push out. It's Kotomitsuki's 4th win. Koto-o-shu lost balance when Kakuryu pulled back and lost. Harumafuji stepped aside and drove Miyabiyama down. The audience reacted coldly to the Mongolian's measure of winning. Hakuho charged forward and immediately drove out Wakanosato to keep his record clean.

5th day
Shimotori is the only Japanese with a perfect record by defeating Tokusegawa. It's unfortunately due to the fact that Kaio lost. Its to Tochinoshin's shoves. Kotomitsuki managed to drive Kakuryu out for his 2nd win. Koto-o-shu got a hold of Homasho's belt and pushed him out. Kisenosato lost hold of Harumafuji's belt.And right after that, the Mongolian gave a head lock to win. Baruto with a hold of Toyonoshima's belt with his right drove his opponent out. Hakuho charged into Kotoshogiku, slightly shifted his position then threw Kotoshigiku to win.

4th day
Takamisakari drove out Mongolian Koryu to win his 3rd bout. Kotomitsuki tries various techniques on Tochinoshin but fails. The Georgian won his 3rd bout. Koto-o-shu threw Miyabiyama also for his 3rd win. Harumafuji gave Toyonoshima thrusts and the got hold of him, throwing him with his right. Baruto forced Tochiozan out of the ring. Kaio banged into Kisenosato and immediately thrust his head, driving Kisenosato down. Hakuho ushed out Homasho.

3rd day
Takamisakari grabbed Takekaze and pushed him out for his 2nd win. Tochinoshin grabbed Koto-o-shu's belt and drove him out. Its the ozeki's first loss. Harumafuji forced down Homasho for his first win. Baruto drove out Kotoshogiku. Kaio and Tochiozan banged into eachother. Then Kaio pulled back and thrusted down Tochiozan. It's the popular ozeki's 3rd win. Kotomitsuki managed to drive out Toyonoshima for his first win. Hakuho moved forward and forced out Miyabiyama.

2nd day
Harumafuji tried to force a throw on Tochinoshin. But he lost hold and was picked up by the Georgian and taken out of the ring. Homasho attacked Baruto. But Baruto shifted position while picking up Homasho by his belt to force him out. Miyabiyama and Kaio appeared to both fall of the ring at the same time, but Kaio was given the bout. Kotomitsuki charged forward. Kisenosato shifted to the side which forced Kotomitsuki out. Koto-o-shu fought with his eyes on Aminishiki. The Bulgarian managed to thrust Aminishiki down. Hakuho threw Toyonoshima to win.

1st day
Aminishiki quickly drove out Wakanosato. Kisenosato grabbed Kakuryu's body and drove him out. New ozeki Baruto gave Tochinoshin thrusts then shoved the Georgian down. Kaio as usual received a big applause. And he responded by not being daunted by Homasho's sudden shift of movement. He kept his eye on Homasho, thrust his head to drive him down on the dirt. Kotomitsuki shoved Miyabiyama. But on the verge of the ring, Miyabiyama pivoted and drove the ozeki down. Toyonoshima withstood Koto-o-shu's shoves but in the end, the Bulgarian forced Toyonoshima down. Harumafuji easily gave in to Kotoshogiku's shove. It may be an indication he has not recovered from a knee injury sustained during the April general practice. Hakuho quickly drove out Tochiozan.
