Starting for the Central League, the Giants Tomoyuki Sugano. For the Pacific Takahiro Norimoto. Norimoto hurled a max 158km. A surprise home run by the Giants catcher Seiji Kobayashi who has not homered in the regular season. The Hawks Alfredo Dispaigne homered to equalize. Daichi Suzuki of Fighters hit in a game winning 2 run homer. Shohei Otani was a pinch hitter but could not get himself on base. The Pacific side won again 3 to 1. MVP was Shogo Akiyama.

July 14 Nagoya Dome (36111 audience)
Starting for the Central League, the Dragons Raul Valdez. For the Central League its Kodai Senga. First up to bat, Shogo Akiyama slammed a home run. In the 4th inning Yoshitomo Tsutsugo homered. Haruki Nishikawa of the Fighters homered in the 8th inning. Sho Nakata homered in the 9th. In the end Pacific League won 6 to 2. MVP went to Hawks Seiichi Uchikawa.
