The Tigers rookie Teruaki Sato homered. The Buffaloes Yutaro Sugimoto homered. Golden Eagles Hiroaki Shimauchi hit in 2 runs. He had another RBI. With this the Pacific side won 4 to 3. Hiroaki Shimauchi was awarded MVP.

July 16 Met Life Dome ( 8992 audience)
It's the first time in 2 years All Star Games are held. Starting for the Pacific League Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Buffaloes. He pitched perfect 2 innings. Meanwhile Hotaka Yamakawa of the Lions hit in the first run. Brian Laird of the Marines homered. But for the Central League, Ryosuke Kikuchi of the Capr slammed a 2 run home run to take the lead. The Pacific side equalized. In the end, Central League won on a walk. MVP went to Ryosuke Kikuchi.
