Starting for the Pacific, Mr Perfect, the Marines Roki Sasaki. And his catcher as usual schoolmate Ko Matsukawa. He gave up a run but seemed to enjoy himself. He hurled a speed ball up to 162 km per hour. Matsukawa helped the Pacific with his bat with an equalizing RBI. The Hawks Yuki Yanagita slammed a home run to give the Pacific a 2 to 1 win. Yanagita said he homered with Kiyomiya's bat.

July 26 Fukuoka PayPay Dome (35534 audience)
The Central League was the first to score. Then the Pacific equalized on Viciendo's home run. Hotaka Yamakawa homered. Mune hit in a run to equalize. In the 9th inning with 2 outs, the Fighters Kotaro Kiyomiya faced the Carp's Masato Morishita. He blasted a homerun to finish the game 3 to 2 for the Pacific. It's the first time since 1986 that a game ends with a sayonara home run. Kiyomiya was awarded MVP.
