The first grandslam in an all star game in 57 years was blasted by Carp's Shogo Itakura. The Swallows Ariel Austin blasted a 2 run home run. Munenori Murakami at home also homered. It's his 2 games in a row. But the Pacific League quickly scored to lead. The biggest contributor was Toshiya Sato of the the Golden Eagles with 5 RBIS. The Pacific won 16 to 10. Sato was chosen MVP.

In the 2nd inning, Central League players blasted hitting in 9 runs. Among them Yoshitomo Maru, Munetaka Murakami Shogo Maki homered. Then again in the 4th inning Maki homered. In the 8th inning, Pacific's Hotaka Yamakawa slammed a 3 run home run. But could not catch up. Central won 11 to 6 and Maki earned the title of MVP.
