1st stage:Hiroshima Carp vs Yokohama Dena BayStars
The BayStars ace Iwanaga was clobbered. On Tanaka's game winning hit the Carp won again. It's 4 to 2.
With this win, the Carp advanced to the final stage of the Climax Series.
On Oct 14, in the first game, Akiyama hit in a run in the 11th inning to clinch the game 3 to 2 against the BayStars.

The Giants on Oct 3 beat the Dragons, and also won the next day against the BayStars.
But as it ended in B class, skipper Tatsunori Hara decided to step down after this season.
It's without completing his 3 year contract.
He names Shinnosuke Abe his successor.
Only a few games were left. The Giants on Oct 1 held a farewell game for Nobuhiro Matsuta and a ceremony. The Giants beat the Swallows. The BayStar won its 3rd game in a row, beating the Dragons. The Tigers defeated the Carp.

The competition to advance to the climax series seems to have been finalized on Sept 26, with the Giants facing a shut out loss to the BayStars. Katsuki Azuma won his 16th game.
The Giants is out.
The Carp and the BayStars compete for 2nd place.
The BayStars lost to the Swallows on Sept 27, beat the Tigers on Sept 25 on a run by Shogo Maki.
But lost to the Swallows on Sept 30.
As to the Carp, it lost to the Dragons on Sept 28 beat the Tigers the next day.
From Sept 20 the Tigers faced the Giants, Yoshihiro Maru homered in both games but the victory went to Tigers in the first game to the Giants in the 2nd games. On Sept 20, the BayStars Katsuki Azuma won his 15th game of the season supported by a 2 run homer by Shogo Maki in the game against the Carp. The Swallows Osuna's RBI gave his team a win over the Dragons. The Dragons won the next day.
From Sept 17, the Tigers lost 2 games against the BayStars. The Carp and the Dragons faced eachother and won a game each. The Giants beat the Swallows in 2 games, both very competitive games.
The Tigers lost the game against the Carp on Sept 15, following league victory celebrations ending its winning streak at 11. The Tigers won the next on Sheldon Neuse's 2 run home run. The BayStars faced the Swallows and won a game each. The Giants won the first against the Dragons on home runs by Kazuma Okamoto, Hayato Sakamoto and 2 homers by Sho Nakata. But lost the next game.
The Tigers faced the Giants on homeground Koshien from Sept 12. Pitcher Yuki Nishi shut out the Giants in the first. Teruaki Sato grandslammed to win again in the 2nd. With the victory in the 3rd game, the Tigers clinched the league victory for the first time in 18 years. As to other teams, they continue to compete to try to finish 2nd and 3rd to advance to the Climax series. The BayStars lost to the Dragons the first 2 games, won the 3rd with homers by Shogo Maki and Neftali Soto. The Swallows beat the Carp in the first 2 games, lost the 3rd.
The Tigers feat continued from Sept 8 by beating the Carp in all 3 games. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows. The Giants defeated the Dragons in 2 games, tied in 1.
The Tigers winning streak extended to 5 by defeating the Dragons from Sept 5 in 2 games. Carp's Shota Dobayashi hit in a game winning run on Sept 5 to defeat the BayStars. Then on Matt Davidson's homerun it clinched the game the next day. But lost the 3rd. The Giants won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows.
The Tigers faced the Swallows from Sept 1. Teruaki Sato homere in 2 games. The Tigers won all 3. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp. The Giants lost the first 2 against the Carp, won in the competitive 3rd.

From May 23, the Tigers won all 3 games against the Swallows. The BayStars won the first game against the Giants, lost the next, shut out by pitcher Shosei Togo. The Giants won the 3rd game too on Naoki Yoshikawa's RBI. The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp.
On May 19, the Carp stopped the Tigers consecutive win at 7. But the Tigers won the next 2 games. The BayStars played against the Swallows from May 20, won the first, tied in the next. Last year's champion the Swallows had a great start with last year's triple crown kind Munetaka Murakami's 2 run home run, hitting off the Carps Daichi Ohsera, with a shut out victory.
The Tigers, managed from this year by Akinobu Okada beat the BayStars with RBIs by Ryutaro Umeno and Ryuhei Obata.
The Dragons in it's first game took over the lead in the 9th inning to surpass the Giants.
The Giants earlier took the lead on Sho Nakata's home run ahd 2 more RBIs.
