Climax Series

2nd stage:Tokyo Giants vs Yokohama Dena BayStars
In the 6th game on Oct 21 Shosei Togo started. Togo's bunt helped the Giants score. But BayStars equalized. From the 8th inning Tomoyuki Sugano appeared to pitche. Shogo Maki hit in a run. The BayStars won 3 to 2 and proceeded to the Japan Series.

On Oct 20,the Giants Raito Nakayama homered and Iyori Yamasaki shut out the BayStars in 7 innings. In the end the Giants won 1 to 0.

On Oct 19 the Giants won its first game. Hayato Sakamoto showed a good base run and came home on catcher Yukinori Kishida's squeeze. The BayStars mishandled Hisayoshi Chono's grounded ball, allowing 2 RBIs. The Giant won 4 to 1.

On Oct 18 the Giants scored first on Kazuma Okamoto's home run. But the BayStars quickly equalized on a homer by Tyler Austin. Then the BayStars scored to take the lead on a wild pitch. The BayStars won it's 3 straight game 2 to 1.

The Giants ace Tomoyuki Sugano started in the 2nd game on Oct17. He gave up a run to Keito Mori. His teammate Kazuma Okamoto hit in a run to equalize. But Sugano gave up a home run to Tyler Austin. The Giants lost 1 to 2.

On Oct 16, Shosei Togo started for the Giants. In the 4th inning, he gave up a home run to Keita Sano. In the 7th inning, Yoshitomo Tsutsugo hit in a run. The BayStars had a shut out victory.

1st stage:Hanshin Tigers vs Yokohama Dena BayStars
The 2nd game on Oct 13 was one-sided. Tigers starting pitcher Haruto Takahashi gave up 4 runs in 2 innings. Mike Ford and Keita Sano homered to help the BayStars win 10 to 3 to advance in the final stage.

The BayStars scored a run first, then Tyler Austin helped secure a win by hitting in 2 runs. The Tigers tried to get back in the 9th inning on Seiya Kinami's RBI but could not get further runs in. The BayStars won 3 to 1 on Oct 12.

The BayStars beat the Carp on Oct 1. The BayStars lost to the Giants the next day. But the Carp's loss was decisive for the BayStars securing the last spot in the Climax Series.

Sept
The Giants beat the Dragons on Sept 27, and the next day beat the Carp. With this victory, the Giants secured its league victory. It's the first in 4 years and in total the 39th. Meanwhile the Swallows beat the Tigers on Sept 27 on Santana's 3 run home run. With its win on Sept 29 against the BayStars, the Swallows secured 2nd place in the league to advance to the Climax Series.

From Sept 25, the Giants and the BayStars won a game each. The Swallows defeated the Carp in 2 games, including with a 2 run homer by Munetaka Murakami.

The Giants struggle to secure its league victory winning a game losing a game against the Tigers from Sept 22. The Carp lost 2 games against the Dragons to fall to 4th place. The BayStars and the Swallows won a game each.

The Giants and the Carp won a game each from Sept 20, and each time the Carp is going up and down the ranks. The BayStars too went up and down the ranks by winning 1 game and losing one against the Tigers. The Dragons beat the Swallows in both games and surged to 5th place.

The Giants is in counting down the days to a league victory. From Sept 18 it tied with the BayStars and won a game on Kazuma Okamoto's 2 run home run. The Carp is slipping, losing 2 games to the Swallows. The Tigers beat the Dragons on Sept 18.

From Sept 15, the Giants Kazuma Okamoto homered in both games against the Dragons to help his team win both. The Tigers beat the Swallows in 2 games. The Carp and the BayStars won a game each.

From Sept 13, the Giants lost 2 games against the Swallows, with Munetaka Murakami blasting home runs in both games. The Tigers beat the Carp in both games and surged to 2nd place. The BayStars and the Dragons won a game each.

The Carp faced the Giants from Sept 10 and the Giants defeated the Carp in 3 games to retain first place. The Tigers and the BayStars played and the team won a game each. The Swallows won 2 games of 3 against the Dragon, with Domingo Santana contributing with a home run and RBI hit.

The Carp from Sept 6 lost the first and the 3rd games unable to return to thte top. Meanwhile the Giants played 2 games from Sept 7, won the first but was shut out in the 2nd by the BayStars. The Tigers faced the Swallows from Sept 6, won the first on a grand slam by Teruyuki Sato, and the next on a 2 run by Sato. but lost the 3rd.

From Sept 3, the Carp lost all 3 games to the BayStars. The Giants lost the first 2 games against the Swallows, but by winning the 3rd on Kazuma Okamoto's 3 run, it replaced the Carp for first place. The Tiger beat the Dragons in all 3 games.

The Giants Tomoyuki Sugano won his 13th game beating the Tigers on Sept 1. The Carp on the same day beat the Swallows on Masaya Yano's inside the park 3 run home run.

The Dragons won 2 of 3 games against the Carp from Aug 27. The Giants Kazuma Okamoto homered against the Swallows on Aug 27, and in the next game Shogo Asano blasted a 2 run home run to win. The BayStars beta the Tigers in 2 games from Aug 27.

The Carp faced the Tigers from Aug 23. The Tigers won 2 of 3 games. Meanwhile 2nd place Giants won 2 games against the Dragons. In the 3rd game when Tomoyuki Sugano won his 12th game. The BayStars Keita Sano contributed with homeruns on Aug 23 and 25 for his team's win against the Swallows. The Swallows won on Aug 24 on Munetaka Murakami's 2 run home run.

The top 2 teams faced eachother from Aug 20. The Carp's ace Masato Morishita won his 10th game by defeating the Giants. The Giants won the next on a 3 run home run by Kazuma Okamoto. But the Carp won the 3rd in a 10 inning game. The Tigers won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows. The BayStars beat the Dragons in 2 of 3 games, including a win on Keita Sano's 2 run home run.

On Aug 16, many games were rained out. The Tigers played agains the Dragons and lost.They equalized in the next, the Dragons won the 3rd. The Giants beat the BayStars on Aug 17 on Yoshihiro Maru's 2 run home run. The BayStars had a walk over win the next day. The Carp lost on Aug 17 against the Swallows, but won the next.

The Carp faced the BayStars from Aug 12, and managed to win 2 of 3 games. The last one was dramatic with Yusuke Kikuchi's 3 run home run. The Giants clinched 2 of 3 games against the Tigers. The Swallows Jose Osuna contributed to his team's 2 wins in 3 games against the Dragons.

The Carp beat the Tigers in 2 of 3 games from Aug 9. The Giants defeated the Dragons in 2 of 3 games. In the last game Tomoyuki Sugano won his 11th game. The BayStars won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows.

From Aug 6 the Carp faced the Giants. They won a game each and tied in one. The Swallows beat the Tigers in the first 2 games, supported by Munetaka Murakami's RBIs. The Dragons faced the BayStar, they won a game each and tied in a game.

On Aug 2 the Carp surged to first place by defeating the Dragons, while the Tigers to 2nd by defeating the BayStars. The Carp won the next 2 games. The Tigers lost the next but won the 3rd. The Giants won 2 of 3 games against the Swallows.

On Aug 1, in a game commemorating 100 year of Koshien Stadium, the Tigers defeated the Giants. The Carp beat the BayStars. The Dragons won a competitive game against the Swallows.

On Jul 30, the Tigers Ohyama slammed a 3 run home run to defeat the Giants.The Tigers won the next game too. The Carp won 2 games against the BayStars. The Dragons also clinched 2 games against the Swallows.

After the all star break, from Jul 26, the Giants faced the BayStars. It won all 3 games. The Carp won the first game on Masaya Yano's 2 RBI against the Swallows, but lost the next 2 games. The Tigers Shota Morishita slammed a 3 run home run in the first game against the Dragon for his team's win. The Tigers won all 3 games.

The Giants lost to the Dragons on Jul 19 while the Carp beat the Tigers and surged to first place. The Carp won the next game, but lost the 3rd game against the Tigers. The Giants won the next 2 games against the Drgaons.

The Giants keep the lead by defeating the Tigers in 2 games from Jul 16. The Swallows on Jul 16 beat the Dragons. The Carp beat the BayStars on Jul 17.

The Giants beat the BayStars on Jul 12 on Gakuto Wakabayashi's walk over hit, won again the 2nd game, but lost despite it's ace Tomoyuki Sugano pitched. The Dragon won 2 of 3 games against the Tigers from Jul 12. The Carp won 2 games against the Swallows.

On Jul 9 the Giants Kazuma Okamoto blasted a 3 run home run to defeat the Carp. The Tigers defeated the Swallows in 2 games. The BayStars won the first game from Jul 9 against the Dragons on Tyler Austin's home run. He homered the next day too for his team wo win again as started Kazuki Azuma hurled a shut out game. The BayStars won the 3rd game too.

The Dragons Hiroto Takahashi shut out the Carp on Jul 5, and the Dragons continued on to win the next 2 games. The Giants Yukinori Kishida slammed a 3 run home run on Jul 5, then Kazuma Okamoto homered the next day, Takumi Ohshiro and Yoshihiro Maru homered in the 3rd game to clinch all 3 games against the Swallows. The Tigers won 2 of 3 games against the BayStars.

The Tigers beat the Carp in the first game on Jul2 , won the next on Teruaki Sato's 2 homers, but lost the 3rd. The Dragons faced the Giants, won the first and lost the 2nd to Elier Hernandez's 3 run home run. The BayStars beat the Swallows in 2 of 3 games.

From June 25, the Carp played well against the Swallows starting with a shut out victory by started Masato Morishita, and a walk over home run by Shogo Itakura. The Giants and the BayStars won a dramatic win each. The Tigers faced the Dragons, with each winning a game and equalizing in another.

On June 21, teams were back playing in their respective leagues. The Carp lost 2 games to the Dragons, and managed to win one on a good pitching again by starter Daichi Osera. The Giants lost 2 of 3 games to the Swallows. The Tigers and the BayStars won a game each while another was rained out.

The Giants Togo pitched a no hitter game and the team defeated the Tigers on May 24. The Tigers won the next, while the Giants won the 3rd. The Carp beat the BayStars in all 3 games from May 24. The Swallows won the first against the Dragons, but had a shut out lost in the next 2.

On May 21, the Carp defeated the Tigers on Shota Suekene's 3 run home run. The Tigers won the next 2 days. The Giants tied with the Dragons on May 21, and lost the next day. The BayStars Keita Sano homered to support his team's win over the Swallows. The BayStars went on to win the next on Yoshitomo Tsutsugo's 2 run, and the 3rd too.

The Tigers faced the Swallows from May 17, lost the first, won the next 2 to keep first place. The Carp defeated the Giants in all 3 games. On May 17 the BayStars Toshiro Miyazaki hit in a game winning run against the Dragons, then won the next game on Hayate Nakagawa's home run. But lost the 3rd game.

From May 14,the Tigers faced the Dragons, lost the first to Takaya Ishikawa's RBIs, but won the next 2 and surged to first place. The Giants won on Kishida's home run on May 14, then on Yoshitomo Maru's 2 run the next day against the BayStars. The Carp and the Swallows won a game each.

The Tigers from May 10 won the first game on Sheldon Neuse's RBI, lost the next to Yoshitomo Tsutsugo and Shugo Maki's home runs, and won a shut out win on Hiroto Saiki's hurling over the distance. The Giants won the first 2 games against the Swallows, which included in the 2nd game 2 homers by Kazuma Okamoto. The Swallows won the 3rd with RBIs by Domingo Santana. The Carp and the Dragons won a game each.

Rainy days forced some games to be cancelled from May 6. The Giants and the Dragons played all 3 games. The Giants won 2. The Tigers lost 2 games to the Carp. The BayStars returnee, Yoshitomo Tsutsugo blasted a 3 run home run to defeat the Swallows. The Swallows won the 2nd game.

The Giants faced the Tigers from May 3. The Giants won the first game on Hayato Sakamoto's RBI and Kazuma Okamoto's 2 run home run. The Giants won the next game in the 10th inning on Naoki Yoshikawa's RBI. The Tigers clinched the 3rd game with a 3 run home run by Koji Chikamoto. The Dragons and the Swallows won a game each and tied. The BayStar defeated the Carp in 2 of 3 games.

On May 1, the Swallows blasted with homers by Jose Osuna and Muetaka Murakami. The Tigers tied with the Carp in an 11 inning game. The BayStars clobbers the Dragons starter Hideki Wakui and won.

From Apr 29 the Swallows overwhelmed the Giants starting with a home run by Tetsuto Yamada. The Dragon and the BayStars won a game each. The Tigers beat the Tigers on Apr 30.

The Tigers faced the Swallows from Apr 26, and won 2 of 3 games. The Giants took on the BayStars, lost the first to a grand slam by Ryuki Watarai, but won the next 2. The Carp and the Dragons played 2 games, the Carp won the first, they tied in the second.

The Tigers tied with the BayStars on Apr 23, won the next. The The Dragons lost 2 of 3 games against the Giants. On Apr 24, the Giants clinched the game on Hayato Sakamoto's 3 run home run.The Carp beat the Swallows on Apr 23, but lost on Apr 25 to Domingo Santana's home run.

The Tigers faced the Dragons from Apr 19, bet them in 3 straight games to replace the Dragons for first place. The Swallows on Apr 19 won on Munetaka Murakami's home run against the BayStars. The Carp won a games against the Giants and they tied in 2.

The Dragon beat the Swallows in the first 2 games from Apr 16 with RBIs by Seiya Hosokawa. But the Swallows won the 3rd game with Munetaka Murakami blasting a 2 run home run, and 2 homers by Jose Osuna. Historic rivals, Tigers and the Giants faced eachother. They tied in the first game. The Tigers clinched the next which included a game winning base hit by Teruaki Sato. The Carp beat the BayStars in 2 games. On Apr 18, the BayStars at Yokohama Stadium introduced its former slugger Yoshitomo Tsutugo has rejoined, after an unsuccessful 5 years in the US.

The Dragons faced the Tigers from Apr 12. They tied, lost and won a game each. On Apr 12, the Giants Kazuma Okamoto homered to help his team beat the Carp. The Giants won the next 2 games. The Swallows lost the first game against the BayStars but things start looking up the next game with Munetaka Murakami's first RBI of the seaon to win, and then his home run in the 3rd game.

The Dragons continued to be in good shape defeating the BayStars on Apr 9 on Sho Nakata's RIB and winning the next game too. The Tigers faced the Carp from Apr 8 with a shut out win in the first game. The Carp ended its losing streak at 4 i the next game and won the 3rd game too. The Giants beat the Swallows on Kazuma Okamoto's RBIS including a home run on Apr 9. On Apr 11, Tomoyuki Sugano pitched well and the Giants won.

The Tigers Teruaki Sato homered on Apr 5, and also the next day to help his team defeat the Swallows, but lost the 3rd game. The BayStars won the first 2 games from the Giants, the Giants won the 3rd on 2RBIs by Hayato Sakamoto. The Dragons won all 3 games against the Carp.

From Apr 2, the Tigers faced the BayStars, lost 2 of 3 games. The Giants lost the first 2 games against the Dragons, but in the 3rd game, veteran pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano had solid 7 innings and with Kazuma Okamoto's RBI won. The Carp won 2 games against the Swallows.

The league opened on Mar 29. Last champion Tigers faced the Giants at Tokyo Dome. The Giants clinched the first 2, with homers by Kazuma Okamoto and Hayato Sakamoto, but lost the 3rd game. The BayStars won the first to games from the Carp, lost the 3rd. Sho Nakata joined the Dragons. He homered in the first and 3rd against the Swallow. But the Swallows clinched both games, while they tied in the 2nd.
