2nd stage:Orix Buffaloes vs Fukuoka Softbank Hawks
The Buffaloes started off on Oct 15 with Masataka Yoshida's 2 run home run. The Hawks equalized on Alfredo Despaigne's 2 run hom run. In the bottom of the 9th inning, Keita Nakagawa hit in a game inning run, to give the Buffaloes the ticket to the Japan Series 2 years in a row. It's a 3 to 2 win.

On Oct 14, the Hawks ace pitcher Koudai Senga started. But he had to leave the mound due to a pain. A relay of pitchers proved successful. Meanwhile Masaki Mimori hit in a run. So did Alfredo Despaigne. Rookie Isami Nomura homered. The Hawks won 3 to 0.

In the 2nd game on Oct 13, Yuki Yanagita hit in a run. The Buffaloes equalized on Masahiro Nishino's sacrificed hit. Then Yutaro Sugimoto slammed a 2 run home run. The Buffaloes won 4 to 3.

On Oct 12, the Buffaloes starter was the league's best pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. He pitched a shut out 8 innings, stiking out 8. The Buffaloes were walked and walked in the 4th inning. The Buffaloes won 5 to 0.

First stage:Fukuoka Softbank Hawks vs Seibu Lions
On Oct 9, Yuki Yanakita homered again. This time he grand slammed and celebrated his team's advancing to the 2nd stage on his birthday. The Hawks won 8 to 2.

On Oct 8, the Hawks Yuki Yanagita slammed a 3 run home run. The Lions tried to catch up. But was unable to facing Kota Senga. The Hawks won 5 to 3.

October
On Oct 1 the Lions resisted the Hawks to win the league pennant at their stadium. In extra inning, Hotaka Yamakawa finished the game with his home run. The next day, the Hawks lost to the Marines Koki Yamaguchi's 3 run home run. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles. As a result the Buffaloes clinched the league pennant.

Sept
From Sept 29, the Hawks faced the Golden Eagles, won both games, with only 1 game victory to go for its league victory.

On Sept 27, the Lions Hotaka Yamakawa homered a 2 run to beat the Hawks. The Golden Eagles beat the Buffaloes. The Fighters Kotaro Kiyomiya grandslammed to beat the Marines. The next day the 2 teams played against eachother too, and the Marines won. On Sept 28 the Lions shut out the Golden Eagles.

The Hawks lost to the Marines in a 10 inning game on Sept 23, but won the next 2 games. The Fighters won a 10 inning game against the Golden Eagles on Sept 23. On Sept 24, the Buffaloes Masataka Yoshida slammed a 2 run home run to beat the Golden Eagles. The Lions defeated the Fighters. From Sept 25, the Golden Eagles had a shut out victory over the Fighters in the first game but lost the next.

On Sept 20, the Hawks beat the Fighters. The Lions defeated the Lions. The Buffaloes Masataka Yoshida homered to beat the Marines.The next day, the Marines beat the Buffaloes.

The Hawks faced the Buffaloes from Sept 17. The Buffaloes Yoshinobu Yamamoto shut out the Hawks in the first game. Then Hiroya Miyagi won a shut out game too the next day. The Buffaloes won the 3rd game too to on Masataka Yoshida's RBI. The Golden Eagles beat the Lions in all 3 games. The Fighters won 2 of 3 games against the Marines.

From Sept 15, the Hawks Yuki Yanagita homered in the first 2 games to beat the Golden Eagles. The Buffaloes and the Fighters won a game each. The Marines beat the Lions on Sept 15.

From Sept 12, the Hawks faced the Lions and won all 3 games. The Marines shut out the Fighters in the first. Kotaro Kiyomiya homered twice to take the Fighters to victory in the 2nd game. The Marines won the 3rd on good pitching by Roki Sasaki. The Golden Eagles won the first game against the Buffales, and tied in the 2nd.

On Sept 10, the Hawks lost to the Buffaloes but won the next day on Yuki Yanagita's 3 run home run. The Lions won a game against the Fighter and so did the Fighters. The Golden Eagles and the Marines won a game each.

From Sept 6 the Hawks won the first game but lost the next 2 to the Golden Eagles. Lions faced the Marines, won the first but lost the next. The Fighters won 2 games against the Buffaloes. On Sept 8 the Marines faced the Fighters. Shogo Nakamura slammed a 2 run home run to help the Marines win.

The Hawks beat the Lions on Sept 2 and the next day, lost the 3rd. The Buffaloes beat the Marines in all 3 games. The Fighters defeated the Golden Eagles in 2 of 3 games.

On Sept 1 the Marines clobbered the Hawks with a homer and base hit by Seiya Inoue. The Golden Eagles Hiroaki Shimauchi grand slammed against the Buffaloes.

On Aug 29, in the only game played, the Marines beat the Hawks. They faced eachother against on Aug 31 and the Marines shut out the Hawks. From Aug 30, the Lions and the Fighters faced eachother and won a game each. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles in 2 games.

The Hawks on Aug 26 clobbered the Fighters, lost the next, shut out the Fighters in the 3rd game which its ace Senga pitched. The Lions won the first and 3 games against the Buffaloes. On Aug 26 the Marines super pitcher Roki Sasaki won his 8th game pitching sell against the Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles won the next with good pitching by Masahiro Tanaka. The Marines won the 3rd with 2 run home runs by Seiya Inoue and Hisanori Yasuda.

The Marines from Aug 23 beat the Lions in 2 of 3 games. The Lions fell to 2nd place. The Hawks lost 10 players temporarily to COVID-19, but it managed to win the first 2 games, but lost the 3rd game. On Aug 23, the Buffaloes and the Fighters had to quit playing due to sunset. They played at a stadium in Kushiro with no lights. The Buffaloes won on Keita Nakagawa's home run the next day.

The Lions lost to the Buffaloes Yoshinobu Yamamoto on Aug 19. It beat the Buffaloes the next 2 games. On Aug 19, the Hawks Yuki Yanakita hits in 2 runs to beat the Fighters. The Hawks won the next 2 games. The Marines won the first game against the Golden Eages but lost the next 2 games.

The Lions faced the Hawks from Aug 16, and won 2 of 3 games. The Golden Eagles defeated the Fighters in all 3 games. The Buffaloes and the Marines played only on Aug 16. The Marines won on Koki Yamauchi's 3 run home run.

On Aug 12, the Lions defeated the Golden Eagles on Takeya Nakamura and Hotaka Yamakawa's home runs. In the next game the Lions won on Sotozaki's 3 run homerun. It lost the 3rd game. The Buffaloes won 2 of 3 games against the Hawks. The Marines from Aug 12 won and lost a game against the Fighters. The 2nd game was rained out.

The Lions on Aug 9 lost to the Fighter's Kensuke Kondo's 3 run home run. They tied in the next game. The Fighters won the 3rd on Shimizu's RBI. The Hawks faced the Marines from Aug 9 and won all 3 games. The Buffaloes beat the Golden Eagles in 2 of 3 games.

The Lions won 2 or 3 games against the Marines from Aug 5. Hotaka Yamakawa homered in all of them. The Hawks Alfredo Despaigne homered twice in the first game and won against the Golden Eagles. The Hawks won the next but lost the 3rd. The Buffaloes won the first 2 games against the Fighters, but lost the 3rd.

The Lions are doing well, beating the Buffaloes in all 3 games from Aug 2. In the 2nd game Tomoya Mori homered twice.In the 3rd games Takeya Nakamura homered twice. The Fighters faced the Hawks from Aug 2, won the first 2 games, including the second game during which Kotaro Kiyomiya homered twice. but tied in the 3rd. The Golden Eagles won 2 of 3 games against the Marines.

From Jul 29 the Lions faced the Hawks, won the first on Hotaka Yamakawa's 3 run home run and a shut out game the next day, but lost the 3rd. The Fighter beat the Golden Eagles in the first game. Masahiro Tanaka pitched well for the Golden Eagles in the next to win. The Golden Eagles won the 3rd game too. The Buffaloes all 3 games against the Marines.

The Lions faced the Golden Eagles from Jul 22. They one a game each and tied in one. The Buffaloew won 2 of 3 games against the Hawks. The Marines and the Fighters played 2 games and won each.

From Jul 19, the Marines won all 3 games against the Lions. The Buffaloes defeated the Fighters in all 3 games. The Golden Eagles on July 20 won big against the Hawks but lost the next day.

On Jul 16 the Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka won the game against Buffaloes ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, with the support of Eito Asamura's 3 run home ron. The Buffaloes won the next game, the Golden Eagles the 3rd game. The Lions won 2 of 3 games against the Fighters and on Jul 18 rose to first place. The Hawks and Marines won a game each after a rained out match.

The Buffaloes beat the Hawks on Jul 12, with Yuma Mune's RBI hits. The Hawks won the next while the Buffaloes clinched the 3rd in a competitive game. The Lions lost the first game to the Marines, but won the next 2 games. The Fighters beat the Golden Eagles in 2 games.

The Fighters from Jul 8 beat the Hawks in all 3 games. The Lions beat the Golden Eagles in all 3 games. The Buffaloes won 2 of 3 games against the Marines.

The Hawks played against the Golden Eagles on Jul 5 and won on Riku Watanabe's 2 run home run. They faced eachother on Jul 7 which the Golden Eagles won. The Lions clinched 2 competitive games against the Buffaloes from Jul 5 but lost the 3rd. The Marines won the first of 3 games against the Fighters.

The Marines faced the Golden Eagles from Jul 1, won the first 2, tied in the 3rd game. The Fighters clinched the first 2 games from the Buffaloes, lost the 3rd. The Hawks and the Lions played 2 games from Jul 2 in which the Hawks won both.

June

The Golden Eagles faced the Buffaloes on June 28 and won. The Buffaloes won the next game on Masataka Yoshida's 2 run home run. The Lions clinched 2 games against the Fighters.

In the only game on June 27, the Marines beat the Hawks on Brandon Laird's home run. But thereafter it was learned several Hawks players tested positive for COVID-19.

On June 24, the Hawks beat the Fighters on Yuki Yanakita's 2 run home run. The Hawks Tomohisa Ozeki shut out the Fighters in the 2nd game. The Fighters clinched the 3rd game on an error. The Golden Eagles lost to the Lions in all 3 games. Hotaka Yamakawa homered in the 1st and the 3rd games. The Buffaloes beat the Marines on good pitches by Taisuke Yamaoka in the first, Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the 2nd. The Marines clinched the 3rd game.

From June 21, the Hawks and the Buffalows won a game each. The Golden Eagles beat the Fighters in 2 games. The Lions and the Marines won a game each.

Teams were back from interleague to playing within their own league from June 17. The top 2 teams faced eachother. The Hawks won the first game with homers by Yuki Yanakita and Yurisbel Gracial.Ukyo Shuto homered to clinch victory. In the 3rd game Tsuyoshi Wada pitched well to give the Hawks its 3re game in a row against the Golden Eagles. The Lions beat the Buffaloes in the first game with Hotaru Yamakawa's homer. Buffaloes ace pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a no-hitter game to give his team a win. The Lions clinched the 3rd game. The Marines beat the Fighters in all 3 games.

May

From May 20 the Golden Eagles faced the Buffaloes and lost all 3 games. The Fighters beat the Lions in the first 2 games, lost the 3rd. The Marines Leonys Martin slammed a 2 run home run to give his team a win over the Hawks. The Hawks won the next game.

The Marines beat the Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka on May 17. The Marines won the next day too on Leonys Martin's home run. But lost the 3rd game. The Hawks won 2 games against the Lions. The Buffaloes and the Fighters won a game each.

The Golden Eagles lost the first 2 games against the Lion from May 13, won the 3rd on Jose Marmolejos' 2 run home run. On May 13 Roki Sasaki pitched well beating the Buffaloes. The Buffaloes won the next 2 games. The Fighters won the first game and lost the 3rd game against the Hawks.

On May 10 the Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka hurled over the distance and won his 4th game by defeating the Marines and extending his team's consecutive win to 11. But that recorded ended the next day. The Golden Eagles also lost on May 12. The Buffaloes consecutive game loss ended at 7 on May 10 by beating the Fighters but lost the next game. The Hawks beat the Lions on May 11, with Nao Higashihama pitching a no hitter.

The Golden Eagles beat the Buffaloes in all 3 games from May 6. On May 6 the Marines amazing pitcher Roki Sasaki pitched 6 innings giving up 1 run, but the team in the end lost to the Hawks. The Hawks won the next 2 games. The Lion won 2 of 3 games against the Fighters. Slugger Hotaka Yamakawa homered twice on the 3rd game.

On May 3, the Golden Eagles Masahiro Tanaka won his 3rd game pitching against the Fighters. The Golden Eagles won the next 2 games. The Hawks from May 3 beat the Buffaloes in all 3 games, and even ending Yoshinobu Yamamoto's consecutive win record. The Lions Hotaka Yamakawa helped his team win with his home run on May 3 and 5. On May 4 he did not homer and his team lost.

The Golden Eagles Takahiro Norimoto was back recovering from COVID-19, started on May 1 and won the game against the Hawks. The Lions Hotaka Yamakawa homered to help his team beat the Buffaloes. The Fighter won on Raul Alcantara's 3 run homer.

The Buffaloes won on Mune's game winning hit against the Lions on Apr 29. The Buffaloes won the next game on Masataka Yoshida's 2 homers. The Golden Eagles clinched the game against the Hawks in the 11th inning on Apr 30 on Eito Asamura's RBI. On the same day the Marines beat the Fighters.

The first ranking Golden Eagles faced the Marines from Apr 26, won 2 games and tied in 1. The Buffaloes won the first 2 games against the Fighters, lost the 3rd. The Hawks Yurisbel Graciel homered a 2 run to beat the Lions. But the Lions won the next 2 games.

From Apr 22, the Lions won 2 of 3 games against the Golden Eagles. On Apr 22, the Fighters Manami slammed a 3 run home run agains the Hawks to win. But the Fighters lost the next 2 games. The Marines won the first, lost the 2nd game against the Buffaloes. On Apr 24, Roki Sasaki started. He gave up runs ending his perfect innings record. Roki lost in all 2 runs in 5 innings. But the Marines beat the Buffaloes.

On Apr 19,the Fighters Shingo Usami slammed a 2 run home run off Masahiro Tanaka of the Golden Eagles and took his team to a win. The Golden Eagles won the next 2 games. The Buffaloes Yoshinobu Yamamoto's consecutive 18 games win ended in the game against the Hawks. The Buffaloes won the next 2 games. The Lions beat the Marines in 2 games.

From Apr 15 there were games rained out. The Lions beat the Buffaloes in the first. The Buffaloes won the next. The Buffaloes won the 3rd on Masataka Yoshida's 2 run home run. The Golden Eagles beat the Hawks in 2 games. The Fighters are doing well beating the Marines in 2 games. But the star was Roki Sasaki again. He hurled a perfect 8 innings and was taken off the mound. In the end,Chusei Manami homered for the Fighters.

From Apr 12, the games between Buffaloes and the Golden Eagles were cancelled as the Buffaloes players caught COVID-19. The Fighters beat the Lions in the first game, the Fighters clinched the next. The Marines won the first game against the Hawks. A game was rained out. on Apr 14 the Hawks won.

From Apr 8, the Buffaloes faced the Marines. The Marines won the first on Martin's 2 run home run. The Buffaloes won the next with Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitching well. The incredible happened in the 3rd game. 20 year old Marines pitcher

Roki Sasaki

pitched a perfect game. It's the first time in 28 years, or since the Giants Hiromi Makihara that such perfection was achieved. He also broke the consecutive strike out record with 13. In all he recorded 19 strike outs. The Hawks and the Lions won a game each and tied too. The Golden Eagles beat the Fighters in the first 2 games, lost in the 3rd.

The Hawks won its 8th game in a row by defeating the Buffalows on Apr 5. The Hawls winning streak ended the next day. But it won again on Apr 7. On Apr 5, Masahiro Tanaka started for the Golden Eagles. He pitched well and beat the Lions. The Golden Eagles won the next game too. The Fighters lost against the Marines on 2 days from Apr 5.

From Apr 1, the Buffaloes faced the Fighters and won all 3 games. The Marines beat the Lions in the first game with Toshiya Sato's game ending RBI. The Marines won the next 2 games. In the 3rd game Roki Sasaki struck out 13. The Hawkss shut out the Golden Eagles on Apr 1. The next 2 games were postponed as Golden Eagles players tested positive.

The Fighters played on home ground from Mar 29 with Big Boss Shinjo appearing on a flying motorcycle. But the Fighters lost the game and the next game too to the Lions. The Fighters won its first game of the season on Mar 31. The Hawks contined to play well beating the Marines in all 3 games. The Golden Eagles started Masahiro Tanaka pitched a strong 7 innings and helps his team beat the Buffaloes. The Golden Eagles went on to win the next 2 games. But it was announced 6 players tested positive for COVID-19. This includes pitcher Takahiro Norimoto.

The season kicked off on March 25. The Buffaloes shut out the Lions in the first game, in which Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched well. The Lions won the next 2 games. The Marines shut out the Golden Eagles in the first game. On Mar 27, the Golden Eagles clinched the game on Kazuki Tanaka's RBI. Big Boss Tsuyoshi Shinjo who is the skipper for the Fighters this season, was unable to win any of the games against the Hawks. Standing as of Mar 31
