In the 4th inning, the Carp's Kris Johnson gave up a run to a bunt. In the 5th, the Hawks Gracial Yurisbel slammed a home run. The Hawks Rick van den Hurk pitched well and taken over by Yuito Mori who closed the shut out game. The Hawks won 2 to 0 and clinched the Japan Series 2 years in a row.

November 1 at Yahuoku Dome (audience 35,917)
Both teams ace pitchers started. It's Kodai Senga for the Hawks and Daichi Osera for the Carp. Tsubasa Aizawa hit in the game's first RBI in the 2nd inning. The Hawks Akira Nakamura with a 2 RBI gave his team the lead. Then the Carp took the lead on Yoshihiro Maru's 2 run homerun. The Hawks equalized on Yuki Yanagita's RBI. Then in the 6th inning, Aizawa gave the Carp the lead with a home run The Hawks equalized in the 7th inning. The game went into extra innings. Yuki Yanagita finished the game with a home run in the 10th inning to give his team a 5 to 4 win.

October 31 at Yahuoku Dome (audience 35,796)
The Hawks Seiji Uebayashi slammed a 2 run home run in the 3rd inning. In the 4th inning the Carps Seiya Suzuki homered. But there after the Carp hitters were quiet. The Hawks Alfredo Despaign homered 2 games in a row. The Hawks won 4 to 1.

October 30 at Yahuoku Dome (audience 35,746)
A very competitive game in Fukuoka. In the 4th inning, Akira Nakamura hit in a run. Then the Carp's Tomohiro Abe homered. Seiya Suzuki homered too. But Alfredo Despaigne's 3 run home run gave the team further lead. Even though Abe grand slammed in the 8th inning, the Carp would not quite make it. The Hawks won 9 to 8.

October 28 at Hiroshima Stadium (audience 30,724)
Kris Johnson started for the Carp. For the Hawks, Rick van den Hurk. Suzuki Seiya contributed with runs, an more runs. The Hawks could not catch up despite Nobuhiro Matsuda's home run. The game ended 5 to 1 for the Carp.

October 27 at Hiroshima Stadium (audience 30,727)
The 2 teams ace, started. But Kodai Senga already in the 1st inning was in trouble. Ryosuke Kikuchi hit off a home run. Then Ryuhei Matsuyama hits in a run. The Hawks in the 5th inning Alfredo Despaigne hit in 2 runs to equalize. But after that neither side could score. The limit for a game is 12 innings. It ended,2 to 2.
